Date of resignation: 1st Of Feb is when i handed my resignation in but a week later is when i finished
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: None perfect record
Why did you resign: My mum got diagnosed with cancer and my daughter fell ill at the same time, i decided to step back and deal with their health before committing to staff once again, i felt horrible as i was only back in staff for a short time before this happened when i already was comitted to the server.
Why should you return: I've been back for a little bit now and given that everything in my life is back on track i knowthat i can give my full focus back into the community like i once had.
Seeing new staff take on higher roles from when i was here also is such a refresh because i feel like im also coming back into a new team with some old heads still around which is nice. When i was staff i enjoyed helping out the community as much as i could and helping new players feel welcome to the server.
Since my timezone is AEST i play during low pop hours depending on the day, when most staff are asleep and i see a lot of problems with that, one thing i was notable about was my moderation during these times and making sure server health was my first priority before anything else, that being dclass mass escaping, people teaming when they shouldn't be and just general rule's being broken because staff aren't there.
I know my come back last time was short but it was completely out of my hands and if that stuff didn't happen i would still be here today, i feel my knowledge and experience with the server innerworkings and surface level stuff i would be a great asset to the staff team once again, that being helping new staff understand the basic levels of being a staff member and being a great mentor to new staff and making sure everything is done swiftly and without issues. That was my main focus when i was super and what i tried to do when i came back as an admin was to help out players and staff to make sure they felt they were getting the help they needed. Also being that bridge between the community and the SL team / Server Team to make sure players felt heard from their problems.
