Partially Accepted SCP-RP Discord Bot

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
A bot (or bot feature) that allows people to see the following info about SCP UK and USA from the SCP-RP Discord:

• How many players are online
• A list of staff online (or something similar, like the maximum staff rank online)

For staff, this would also provide info/pings regarding the following in the staff Discord channels:

• Low staff numbers on a server (taking into account whether online staff are AFK, and what ranks of staff are on)
• Sits that have been left open for over a certain amount of time without being taken

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not to my knowledge.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

• Allows players to easily see how active the servers are without loading gmod or finding it on a random server tracker site
• Allows players that need certain staff ranks on to get on the server when the right rank is on
  • E.g. if they need something done that requires a Senior Admin+, they can see if any are on
• Allows staff to more easily react to low staff numbers/activity on either server
  • Sometimes, it is a problem but none of the offline-but-available staff know - e.g. because there's no active staff on, so there's nobody to report that there's not enough staff on

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

• Dev time

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This would be a decently useful addition for everyone - especially the staff part of it.

I believe MRP does have a Discord bot that tracks stuff like war stats. Not sure what else it does.

I am not an SCP player however I can give information from an MRP perspective - MRP does have a discord bot that has 3 commands being war, conflict and campaign. This shows relevant information like how long till the next war and the amount of players on each side. I don't know if the staff list could be implemented (if so both bots should have it) however the player count definitely could be. I don't know what else you could have for SCP as I do not play the server but hopefully this sums it up well enough.

Hi Zen, Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.

The Content Team has chosen to partially accept your suggestion for the following reasons.

We will move forward with the addition of a playercount tracking bot that outputs the information via a command. However, we will not be adding the ability for players to remotely tell how many Staff members, what rank they are, or who is online via said command. This information will be present behind closed doors for Staff members to use.
