Why did you resign: I resigned back then, because life caught up to me as I was doing my A levels at the time and had to take a 5 week LOA and once off of that I didnt really have much passion for the server as a whole then (this was me mainly also resigning from all RP roles that I had so staff was the only thing that I had). Furthermore, I was quite burrnt out of the server as when I did come back in the 2 weeks that followed my return I barely did any staff stuff.

Ultimately I resigned because of Burn out and lack of drive within the server.

Why should you return: I think I should return to the staff team because, I have ultimately came back to the server and found a passion for playing within the community again and I would be able to provide support and guidance throughout the community in a multitude of situations; whether it be rule breaks or just general questions I believe I would be able to give an both an unbiased and insightful opinion in a multitude of scenarios.

Reflecting on the previous appeals, I believe also that I have calmed down my toxicity and hostility not only to staff as a whole but also members within my own faction and the greater server. To add onto this, I will make it my mission to be friendly to newer and returning players and be someone they can also go to with any staff questions that they have but also just be a welcoming person to everyone.

Finally, I am able to be a active staff member due to my opened up schedule and I wish to tryout this new staff system as a whole as it looks enticing and is much better than the previous one (Monthly over weekly requirements anyday).

I have gone on my betterment arc and I am a upstanding member of the community now

I have read your appeal and decided to give a negative recommendation for the following reasons:

1. You have been seen breaking a rule recently and then lying about it to staff when confronted with it.

2. Your performance in your last few months as staff were below the normal expectations for multiple months, leading to your demotion/resignation.

3. Although not recent, you have shown inappropriate conduct within our server. What has changed that can make us believe you are qualified to be staff and not make these comments or show this behaviour again?

I’ll address these points:

1. I completely take accountability for breaking the rules and I should never have broken them to begin with. But I will say this, the lying to staff was in regards to a TPA warning where I thought the person meant I was 3rd person abusing for the whole hold that were doing. Upon reviewing the situation as a whole, it was for 2 seconds I was in 3rd person and I gained nothing from it but that is not an excuse from my end and I am sorry for breaking the rules as well as. I apologise for me misunderstanding the situation, and I will do better to respond in a better manner next time.

2. Where does this come from? I was never demoted, and I resigned of my accord due to reasons I have stated in previous appeals and this one. But, In the last remaining months in my tenure as staff I had been a fine staff member and completely met the requirements both within staff as a whole and content team. Furthermore, I got completely fine feedback in my reviews and the only thing I got told was to get activity up. I don’t know where this came from. I was also on loa for 5 weeks for my important exams and granted when I came back I wasn’t the most present staff member but wasn’t as bad as u say I was.

3. as you mention, it was a little bit ago (4 months ago). And I have made an effort and will continue to make an effort to not say or do such things in the community again. But one thing I will say, is you can’t hold something like this above someone’s head forever and say they aren’t gonna change. If that was the case there’s a lot of people that would have that exact same thing held against them. Overall, I think I am a changed person now and I will continue to work towards being even better and stay away from such things.
