What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Remove the current MC&D and replace it with its own donator only regiment

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not that I know of.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Source of income for Ventz, great benefits for donating and new content for surface and regular players alike.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Implementation would be difficult.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
MC&D currently is a waste of server assets and causes more havoc than entices fun.

Through careful thought and consideration I've decided with the help of my AI partner to devise a ranking structure for a hypothetical MC&D Donator Only Regiment. Considering most if not all information on the actual group in lore has not be discovered/created basing any current information on a hypothetical regiment would be neigh impossible. The thought of this suggestion is to incentivize donations and create a flashy new regiment that would bolster surface activity at the same time. A surface rework would greatly improve this whole rework however a complete surface rework would take a very long time and require lots of man hours.

Below was a provided ranking structure that my partner has devised through information gathered from the Wiki of what a hypothetical regiment would look like, real time. As you see there is quite the numerous amounts of curiosities within MC&D, and since not much is known about them the ranking structure should be created with a uniqueness and greed based theme. However this many jobs would be stupid to include, so there is where my Donator only suggestion would come into play.

MC&D; Hypothetical Regimental Structure

Upper Echelon

  1. Principal Partner: The enigmatic leader of MC&D, known only to the highest ranks.
  2. Senior Partners: Elite members who oversee global operations and major business ventures.

Acquisition and Procurement

  1. Curators of the Unusual: Specialists in identifying and appraising rare and anomalous items.
  2. Brokers of Shadows: Skilled negotiators acquiring items through underground networks and clandestine means.
  3. Collectors of Curiosities: Field agents tasked with retrieving and securing new acquisitions.

Sales and Clientele

  1. Masters of the Market: Oversee the sale and auction of anomalies to elite clients.
  2. Ambassadors of Opulence: Client relations experts managing requests and preferences of high-profile patrons.

Research and Mysteries

  1. Custodians of Secrets: Researchers dedicated to unlocking the mysteries and potentials of acquired items.
  2. Artificers of the Arcane: Technical specialists handling the containment and care of anomalous objects.

Protection and Enforcement

  1. Guardians of the Veil: Security experts ensuring the safety of MC&D properties and events.
  2. Enforcers of Silence: Operatives tasked with dealing with threats to the organization’s secrecy and operations.

Logistics and Administration

  1. Stewards of the Vault: Manage the logistics, storage, and cataloging of the MC&D inventory.
  2. Weavers of the Web: Intelligence agents responsible for information gathering and espionage.

Specialized Roles

  1. Patrons of the Bizarre: Elite clients who sometimes partake in missions for exclusive access to rare items.
  2. Harbingers of Discord: Special operatives sent to destabilize rival groups or situations advantageous to MC&D

All of this information provided through my partner is obviously hypothetical and up for changes and discussion. These jobs would obviously require balancing and structuring to ensure they aren't any better than the free regiments provided through just playing the server regularly, however you would still need to include a system to enrich and reward those that spend their hard earned money to obtain these jobs.

The basic idea behind this suggestion is to give MC&D a purpose and a place on the server as well as, most importantly securing Ventz investment of this server as a whole. With a group that is tied through greed and money, its only fitting to make them a donator group and incentivize Ventz to spend the time to make them.

Below would be a generalized structuring of the donator package names and amounts to obtain these package, of course who gets them for those that have already donated would be up to the discretion of Ventz and Network Leadership, but at the same time more could be added for higher dollar amounts. Currently MC&D is quite literally the most useless job you could have and use being only salesmen for energy weapons and to top it off its a 80$ salesmen investment which in my books pales in comparison to even the smallest benefit to the XK rank which would be the XP increase. These of course are simply hypothetical and just to spark an idea for anyone that might have a more efficient way of implementing thing without breaking the server.

Youre giving a list of jobs, their price, as well as what they could do but youre not giving anything besides "This could make money for the server" and "MC&D could use a regiment"
I'm all for MC&D getting their own group but as of right now they exist in a state of being minges or RP salesman. They have the very niche job role of selling very expensive high damage weapons which makes them a, sometimes, sought after thing as people who have the cash to spend and want to use them can buy them. Because of their limited access as a donator only job, not many people seriously play it. Combined with the major factions them having to contest with being CI, Foundation, and GOC they don't really have much to do on the already barren surface as CI never leave base unless its to do a mission, same with GOC and Foundation usually, so they usually have to beg for a permit or bribe their way into something. They're a fun job don't get me wrong I popped off on MC&D a long time ago with some good RP but the way surface and civilian jobs operate in general is just not a good environment for roleplay, along with the general stigma of surface and it's jobs being for minges, in my opinion and just changing surface into like a little ass city would be better then anything else.

Thanks for coming to my yap sesh

thats just like... not the play, man. I get what you're going for, in concept MC&D would make an interesting faction... but i dont think for what the devs are going for/what people would want. Current MC&D, right now, is more or less there to get another source of in-game money for the donators, it doesnt really need to be more than that imo. The prices ideas are also, ya know, not great?
