What will you do to stop this from happening again: I personally do not think I did anything beyond what could be considered as IC, everyone present knew it was IC if not, then I apologise to those people but the vast majority of people recognised it wasn't serious.
Why should you be unbanned: This sets a precedent that you cannot express you character in any way that is aggressive or insulting, the UNGOC is a Military, the military constantly has insults within it and outside of it, I don't need to pull up any actual historical record for that.
The fact that you cannot express a military character in a way that is consistent with how a person within the military would act, is at odds with the fact this is a roleplay server. If you want people to act as they would IC, you'd have to understand that inherently insults of the level I used aren't at all uncommon and much worse has been stated inside of the SCP Universe itself.
I didn't use any racist, homophobic or discriminatory language, it was clearly directed at CI and organisation which adds credence to the fact it was IC, which it was.
You can ask; DEA, Nu-7 or even other GOC, that the character is meant to be by design insulting and offensive ( within reason ) and that I'd never extend those insults beyond where it makes sense for someone to act In Character.
A advanced " Your mom Joke " doesn't qualify as inappropriate conduct nor does using language that insults the person using gross words to call them, or should everyone that makes a dickhead or arsehole comment about someone be taken with a ban because the word sounds gross, I'd think that everyone in CN is smart enough to make the divide that you can be insulted IC for your roleplay.
Not only just this but words that are much harsher than what I used such as 'retard' has been used before IC and NL members have said before, they do not think using words like that is an issue but if they seem it's use as actually carrying genuine hate into OOC then it becomes an issue.
When I was asked prior to being pulled into a sit by a staff member to dial it back, I did and I didn't argue against it, this once again shows that it was completely IC and I had no actual hate in my heart against CI.
