SCP-RP (UK) - Ban Appeal - Jimbo Dingleberry Jones

What server you were banned on: SCP-RP (UK)

Your in-game name: Jimbo Dingleberry Jones

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:448398242

Ban Reason: Stacked bans, LTAP, MRDM & NITRP

Date of ban: 10/03/2026

Who banned you: Felix Blackwood

Ban length: 7 Weeks 6 Days

What will you do to stop this from happening again: This was done out of anger due to a friend on sick leave being wrongfully demoted in game for something they had no part in, I was powerless and hopeless to help them so I acted out and targeted those involved, that injustice was so severe that it pushed me to do something I have never done because I was certain I would never return, but upon speaking to the friend in question, they asked me to stay after a short break because they want to change things. I recieved a message from my friend saying that he had to shave his hair due to chemotherapy, he has throat cancer so when I heard he was demoted for something he didn't do, I snapped and all I saw was red, I am sorry to those who were affected by this misguided action. I will take time away and focus on controlling the anger in the future.

Why should you be unbanned: I don't want to be unbanned, what I did was stupid and deserving of a ban, but I will ask for it to please be reduced a significant amount so that I may take that time to look back on the mistakes and improve upon them, 3 weeks is enough time for me to calm down and pull myself together so i may return to the server. I would also like to add that my killing spree was the result of an in character issue and should of lead to a tribunal for RP, but as I crashed and didn't bother to return it was seen as NITRP.

Hi @Jimbo Dingleberry Jones

Thanks for taking the time to appeal your ban.

After reviewing your appeal and the evidence provided by staff, I completely agree with their decision and will not be amending your ban length in any way, shape or form.

You are ultimately responsible for your own actions no matter what state your are in mentally. You do not get banned for stacked bans unless you frequently violate our rules to the point where this is in fact a bannable offence, so I find the notion that it "pushed you to do something you've never done before" quite laughable.

Not only did you spoil the fun for yourself, but you spoiled it for other people by taking the actions you did on this occassion and that is your consequence to live with. I would like to say that you might learn by serving your ban length but you probably won't, though I do hope I am wrong.

As a final point, how you think MRDM is a proportional answer to an "in character issue" is beyond me and you should stop trying to hide behind this excuse each time you are caught violating a rule.

Due to the above, no action has been taken in regards to your ban appeal.

Kind Regards, Dingle.
