What will you do to stop this from happening again: I will abide properly by gensec procedures. I have learned and was told by my captain shortly after the incident. I was told not to bait keycard holding d class into the airlock. In the moment I thought I was being innovative but I realized this was against procedure. Additionally, I had to log off and I came back to the server to see it was LTAP. This was not the case as I had assumed this issue was taken care of IC. I'll take a softer approach to being a guard.
Why should you be unbanned: I first and foremost did not log off to avoid punishment, I left the server as I had things to go do that day. Second, I am assuming this was on the UK server. I was under the impression this incident for which I am assuming I was banned for was when I was shooting D class from airlock. I was punished by Captain (I cant remember whom ) and was explained the proper procedure. I understand I have a record on this server so if this appeal does not work out it is fine. However in RP, I was informed that a D-Class had a cl4 keycard. Leadership was not doing anything about it and this was a huge security risk! I took initiative in good faith and I had thought of some new on the fly methods for reobtaining this keycard, which we did! However I do understand that I did get carried away with this, and that is not okay. I know it seems I don't have a lot of time on the server but I have been playing over a long span of time so please don't let that influence your opinion. At the very least, 4 weeks is excessive for RDM.
