What will you do to stop this from happening again: I’ll make sure to read and understand the server rules carefully before joining again. I now understand that even in RP scenarios, combat and killing need proper context and approval. In the future, I’ll fully respect all RP boundaries and clarify actions with staff or players if I’m unsure whether they’re allowed.
Why should you be unbanned: This was my first time playing on the SCPRP:UK server, and I was still learning how everything worked. I was banned for “mass RDM,” but I didn’t realize that what I was doing was against the RP rules. I was playing as a Class-D personnel and thought that acting violently or “unhinged” fit the role, so I got too into the character.
I even told the director in-game that I was “feeling quite murderous that day,” which I said as part of the roleplay, not to troll or ruin the game. I genuinely misunderstood what was allowed in RP and didn’t mean to break rules or disrupt other players’ experiences.
Now that I understand how serious RDM is and how the RP structure works, I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again. I respect the staff for keeping things organized and fair, and I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding.
I also feel that a two-week ban is a bit harsh for a first-time mistake, especially since I was just learning. I would really appreciate a reduction to a warning or a shorter ban. I’d like the chance to return, roleplay properly, and contribute to the community in the right way.
