What will you do to stop this from happening again: Looking back, I understand that even though my intention was just to joke around with the researcher outside the room, my choice of sound effect was incredibly poor and insensitive given the situation. It created a harmful and unprofessional atmosphere, regardless of who I was looking at. To ensure this never happens again, I will take a moment to think before I act or speak in-game. I will ask myself, "Could this be misunderstood or hurt someone?" If there's any doubt, I simply won't do it. I'm committed to contributing to a fun and welcoming environment for everyone, and that means being responsible for the impact of my actions, not just my intent.
Why should you be unbanned: I am genuinely sorry for my actions. I did not mean to harass or racially target the player inside the containment chamber; my focus was on the researcher beside me. However, I now fully see how my actions, from an outside perspective, created a deeply offensive and toxic moment that has no place on the server. I take full responsibility for that. The ban has given me a serious opportunity to reflect, and I have learned a valuable lesson about the weight of my words and actions in a shared community space. I am asking for a second chance not to argue the ban, but to prove that I have understood its purpose. I promise to be a more thoughtful, respectful, and positive player moving forward. I value my place in this community and hope to earn back the trust to participate in it again.
