Why are you applying for Director of Internal Security?
I am applying for the position of DoISD as i believe ISD needs to be taken in a new direction with regards to how it handles situations within the foundation and to help repair any relations with other departments within the foundation. I also intend to further improve the department by ensuring regular trainings are conducted and that all members of ISD are held to the highest possible standards and scrutiny should they themselves be found abusing the power they have. I also intend to enforce more RP scenarios where ISD investigate the violations committed, by gathering evidence, witness statements, and question suspects to have more engaging roleplay around ISD and other departments.

What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?:
While i may not have prior experience, i have been pushing to help lead and reform ISD from within to assist Agents and Operatives better understand the role, as well as trialling newer punishments alongside the other commissioners to test the receptiveness of the community, and to see how RP scenarios go regarding the new system. I also intend to push more trainings and cross trainings with other departments to ensure ISD and other departments get a better understanding of the structure and policies of each department as well as build better relations, with my main focus being on departments ISD have more interactions with like GSD and Medical.

What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Security in RP?:
The main responsibilities of the DoISD is to ensure the department is running efficiently and effectively, able to adapt to any situation thrown its way, whether through new policy changes, or ensuring training is kept up to date. They are also the last point of contact in the CoC within ISD when people have issues and have exhausted all other avenues of filing their complaint/grievances. They also maintain the standards within ISD by enforcing the policies and promoting people to commissioners/inspectors to help facilitate those standards of professionalism.

Please give some lore about your Director of Internal Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Ehrendil is an Amnesiac who can't remember his time before Site-65, except in small dreams that he often dismisses as his mind playing tricks on him. He is fiercely loyal to the Foundation, and has a strong sense of justice, but understands that often a gentler approach to certain situations is required to de-escalate situations. He can often be seen talking with other departments leadership teams in an attempt to find common ground and improve relations, or in his office listening to ISD personnel to learn what issues they have and ways to improve their time within ISD.
