What server are you applying for: SCP-RP (UK)

Your Username: Shaunpai

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:63467374

Discord Username: ArcherOfLegend

Age: 21

What's your current playtime: 162 hours

Do you have a mic: Yes!

Your characters name: Grace "Sanguine" Faldas - Foundation
Craven Wayworth - CI
Jack Hammersmith - GOC (NOT ACTIVE)
Phil R. - Civilian

Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: First GM Application

Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: 3 warns from back in March

All for RDM.

How many hours can you be on everyday: I'm usually on for 3-5 hours every day, sometimes longer.

Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community: None.

Why would you like to become a Gamemaster:

I absolutely love roleplay in general. I have been an active roleplayer for a decade at this point, and being able to help others roleplay and to create roleplay situations would be a dream.

What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants:

Besides prior experience, I have a swathe of knowledge in regards to the SCP lore, having read a lot of entries in my free time. I am active during low population hours, which means I can enhance roleplay at times where messing around is common, and I am good at dealing with people during frustrating circumstances, keeping my cool when things go wrong.

Please List 3 small event ideas (Which would involve at least one side of the server):

SCP-662

SCP-662 is a small silver hand bell, 4 cm tall and 2 cm in circumference. It would be placed in inanimate containment in LCZ, and upon ringing of the bell. SCP-662-1 "Mr. Deeds "would appear and ask what they desire.

Mr. Deeds would then try to fulfill the request to the best of his abilities, although will notify the user if a task is impossible by offering alternatives.

Bigfoot

Bigfoot sightings would start getting reported around Pinewood and the mayor would have his rangers dispatched to dispel these rumors (or possibly capture him). The event can go one of two ways, it could be revealed that Bigfoot was just a human in a costume, or it could be revealed that he was an anomalous entity, in which Nu7/CI would try to nab him.

The Mole

Rumors start circulating among members of the Chaos Insurgency about a possible mole. The mole would be a CI-A or B who decided to defect from CI and leave his old ways behind, but before he could be offered safe transport, he would have to leak information about CI whereabouts to the foundation.

Please List an map change event idea (Involving both sides and the entire server):

Life on the seas.

The foundation has financed a cruise for some of their staff, offering them to kick back and relax after years of hard work. There's fun in the sun, a pool on deck to kick your feet up, and dangerous SCPs locked up below! What initially seemed like a vacation for staff ends up turning into disaster as an engine failure caused by a reckless Engineer releases the SCPs from containment.

Even worse, speedboats quickly drifting up to the hull of the ship indicate that the Chaos Insurgency has found out about the SCPs on board and are now coming to release them and to sew general disaster.

It is up to the combatives on board to actively assist non combatives into getting onto lifeboats to help them get out of harm's way, fight off CI who are trying to board and take control of the ship and to recontain or terminate those SCPs!

If the situation is really dire, GOC can be called in for QRF to assist in recontainment efforts.

A press release would happen after the event is over, trying to cover up the fate of the ship and email would be sent around department, requesting staff who were onboard to come in for a medical examination (An amnestication, as CL4/5 foundation personnel scramble to cover this incident up.)

List an example mission for each of the following (O-1, A-1, Nu-7, E-11, CI, UNGOC & Foundation Staff):

O-1 and A-1 -"Friendly Rivalry"

The Ethics Committee and the Overseer Council have decided to pit their respect MTF's against each other in a series of war games to see who would come out on top. These wargames would be cut short as a rogue combative would hold an ECM and an O5 hostage, and the two MTFs would have to team up to save them before time runs out.

Nu-7 "Retrieve the POI!"

Nu-7 would be tasked to retrieve a Civilian who managed to infiltrate and exfiltrate with sensitive information. This Civilian has offered to provide CI with this info in exchange for monetary value. Nu-7 would deploy to retrieve the Civilian during the trade, take out any CI, and to appropriately conceal any information that may get out.

E-11 "Oh the Hume-anity!"

The excessive use of thaumaturgy from thaums, TBs, and TGs all around the site have caused a numerous amount of Hume fields to pop up all over the place. It is up to E-11 to deploy Scranton's to dispel these fields, lest certain class D personnel suddenly start dimension hopping.

CI "Sweet Tooth"

The Chaos Insurgency's DELCOM has developed an incredibly craving for sugar and has tasked his operatives to raid the foundation, not to breach any SCPs or to kill any people, but to steal SCP-330 and bring it back to their bunker so he can feast on it as he pleases, the MCOM is NOT amused.

UNGOC "Snow Blind"

SCP-096 has breached containment, but not within site. A poor civilian has seen his picture and is now going to meet a very gruesome demise. UNGOC catches wind of this and begins cordoning of the area and working with Foundation Personnel to recontain SCP-096. They aim to minimize the amount of casualties that can occur and if things get out of hand, they aim to terminate 096.

Foundation Staff "999's Day Out"

On a relatively quiet day, a research executive requests that SCP-999 be let out onto the surface so that the Foundation can study the effects of cold temperatures on their body. 999 gets up to all kind of mischief and it is up to foundation staff to keep a handle on him while SOP and E-11 are busy.

The application is lacking quite a lot. The map change event needs a bit more fleshing out and is not a bad idea overall.

I think you are nearly there with some of these ideas but you need to hammer it in on how you will control the event, do you need pac3 or a dupe? Just elaborate more on these things.

The E11/Nu7 events are literally gameplay loop scenarios, try reading into E11/Nu-7 a bit more to understand what the players might expect by being in this MTF.

The A1/O1 event is just bog standard and been repeatedly done. I'd recommend reading Tanhony's proposal: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/tanhony-s-proposal

The CI event is something Johnson can do as a non-GM, think more into what the CI are capable of and what would they primarily be doing.

You need to take a look at other successful GM Applications and think on what they've done to put them over the finishing line.

Best of luck regardless!

Im not sure if I should go in and edit the Document or not to update it in regards to critcism, but thank you!

What do you mean by "was just a human in a costume, or it could be revealed that he was an anomalous entity"? It's your event, you're the one choosing how it goes.
There is an actual Bigfoot SCP that you can grab from, but you don't mention it, so I'm unsure what direction this event is meant to go.

The Mole

Rumors start circulating among members of the Chaos Insurgency about a possible mole. The mole would be a CI-A or B who decided to defect from CI and leave his old ways behind, but before he could be offered safe transport, he would have to leak information about CI whereabouts to the foundation.
The Mole event is a good idea, but there's a lot more that could be done with it. Leaking information to something like CI's whereabouts would be useless, as Foundation already know where the CI Cell is.
And if they decide to leak to F where CI are in a Main Raid, that's the easiest way to piss off the entire regiment (based af tbh)

Alright idea, although for Map Change events, you don't need to include every single group. You could leave out GOC, GSD, D-Class, whoever if you wanted too. Just saying this as GOC seems quite out of place.
Idea needs a bit more to it imo either way, and you should link an actual map that the event would take place on.

Very lame event. War-Games are done often, and this is just an RP enhancement at most to me, especially with it being purely player orientated other than the War-Games itself (Which again, is a RP enhancement).

Grouping all of these together, but these all just don't seem like events to me, they're just standard duties that can happen whenever.

Nu-7: A Parawatch can Infiltrate the Site anytime and sell information to CI.
CI: CI can request to do a raid to steal a SCP at anytime.
UNGOC: 096 can breach and get up to surface anytime, where GOC try to deal with it.
Foundation Staff: 999 can be let out to surface anytime. This one is also quite lacklustre, since there are more Foundation Staff other than RSD, yet they're the only ones mentioned. Sending RSD up to surface also just isn't a very good idea either way, especially since their only combative would be the Carto.

SCP-662

E-11 "Oh the Hume-anity!"

The excessive use of thaumaturgy from thaums, TBs, and TGs all around the site have caused a numerous amount of Hume fields to pop up all over the place. It is up to E-11 to deploy Scranton's to dispel these fields, lest certain class D personnel suddenly start dimension hopping.
I think these 2 would be alright.

The Mr. Deeds one really just commits to the crime of unoriginality, and unbalance, as you can tell him to do literally anything, but it seems like an alright concept.
Although I would like to see more elaboration, like the Bell just being placed in Site doesn't make much sense. Should have logistics send it over to the Site for temporary testing, or something along those lines.

The E-11 one is also alright to me. Seems like a good idea, only issue I see is that it is letting D-Class fuck about a lot, which can be a bit annoying for the people involved, but I think it could work.

Im not sure if I should go in and edit the Document or not to update it in regards to critcism, but thank you!
Go for it. Edit your application to make it better. Personally I would change the colour to show what's edited and what isn't, but editing it is alright, as long as you acknowledge it somewhere to show that you're putting in effort to improve.

Best of Luck.

I actually did consider using SCP-1000, but i refrained cause I felt like it would be cliche, that being said I will adjust the application, thanks for the feedback!

Writing this post to officially

WITHDRAW

my application, I will go back to the drawing board, reevaluate what it means to be a GM, and to hopefully improve my writing standards and my thought process behind events, missions, and overall ideas for improving RP.
