Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?

The reason I am applying for executive researcher is due to the fact that I love doing experimentation and research. The RP aspect of the server has always been a thing that has captivated me for some time. As an executive researcher I hope to engage in alot more roleplay and assist others in experiencing the same kind of interesting roleplay aswell. Another key reason I wish to be an executive is to guide newer researchers on their research path and enjoy RSD as much as I do.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:

During my time on the server I have been in many different roles and parts within the site, where I have learnt many different aspects and skills that would be extremely useful for an executive researcher. Examples of this are:

Research: As a researcher I have done many things such as: writing many E grade and good documents, while also helping others (such as jr researchers and researchers) with their documents too; I believe that this is a key part of being an executive, as grading and assisting newer researchers is one of the primary duties of an exec. Furthermore throughout my time in RSD I have engaged in many different tests involving RP and teamwork. I believe that this is also makes me a suitable executive as driving RP and cooperating with other departments is a big part of being an executive.

Gensec: During my time in gensec I ranked up to captain, during this time I conducted countless sweeps, leading those under me in successful sweeps of dblock. I believe leading and commanding those beneath you is an important part for any cl4 position as it can be extremely useful in guiding and enforcing rules onto the ranks below you.
As a captain I helped my chief organize operations for gensec and helped in determining new opportunities for RP within the department, not only is this a really big part of the role of exec but it also allows for many other people within the department to also enjoy RP.

NU7: Within NU7 “hammer down”, qualities such as cooperation with other departments and teamwork is a massive quality in order to combat enemy GOIs and secure the site, this also can translate to an executive researcher position, as during tests and projects cooperation and communication between departments (such as gsd and e11) really is necessary for a good experiment. Communication can also lead to new opportunities with roleplay with other departments as well, strengthening the overall RP in the server.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?

9 excellent graded documents.
The things that make a document E grade are:
- Neat and uniform text
- Cover page
- Index
- SCP description and brief summary
- Aim
- Hypothesis
- Method on test
- The events that took place in the test
- Conclusion
All these things along with neat presentation and coherent writing could produce an E grade document.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:

Responsibilities of an executive researcher in RP include:
- Assisting DoR in duties.
- approving tests for researchers.
- Grading documentation.
- Giving advice and tips on how to improve documentation.
- Overlooking and ensuring tests are done regularly and properly.
- Improve RP for other players and departments.
- Ensuring that those within the department follow the rules set in place.
- Issue punishments for those that do not follow rules.
- Communicating and organizing operations and tests with other departments.
- Conducting regular CL4 duties e.g. Closing PW blast door, opening breach shelter etc.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Description:

Name: Jimothy 'Hamster' Smith
Age: 37
Hair colour: Black
Blood type: AB-
Country of origin: Brazil

Biography:

Jimothy smith was born in 1995, in the favelas of Brazil. During the upbringing of Jimothy, he experienced lots of hardships. Growing up in a gang ridden town, life was not easy for him. While others focused on the "gang life", and criminal actions, Jimothy was focused on being something MORE. Mr smith grew up searching for an opportunity to leave his old life behind, eventually moving to Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, USA, where he began his studies in bio-engineering. After a rigorous 4 year study, he graduated top of his class for his works in the developments in biometric cybernetics. After his studies was completed, he began working in labs across the US becoming renowned for his work on biology and understanding of both humans, and plants. Jimothy smith was approached with an offer, one that he could not refuse. Jimothy smith began his new journey in … the SCP foundation.

Jimothy 'Hamster' Smith now worked in site 65, located in Quebec, Canada. Mr smith worked his way up from a lowly Jr researcher, exploring the possibilities and anomalies the site had to offer, meeting new people and testing new things. Eventually after 2 years working in the foundation Mr smith was promoted to the rank of sr researcher, where the fun could now really begin. Jimothy worked harder and harder everyday trying new things nobody else had, specializing in his works in cross testing and analyzation, creating amazing documents and wowing those above him. Jimothy was approached by the director of research one day, and was asked to join a project, a project given by the overseer council themselves. Jimothy spent the next few months dedicating his time to investigating new ways into domesticating SCP 939, and fulfilling the orders of the o5. After some time Mr smith found a new interest in forms of crosstests, experimenting SCPs on eachother and delving into the fullest capabilities of anomalies and the extent of their abilities on other SCPs, this unique interest drives Jimothy’s research and is the source of many creative testing and opportunities for him. Over Jimothy smith’s time in site 65, he grew to hate Dclass with a passion, after witnessing countless comrades and fellow site personnel die to the violent and archaic nature of class D. It is because of this hatred for Dclass that Jimothy drives to test on them as often as possible and get the most out of every single test subject.

Mr smith wanted to delve into more useful experiments, trying to find new possibilities for use of SCPs in the interests of the foundation, pairing up with researchers with similar mindset to begin project: venator; The project in which SCP 966 could possibly be domesticated or bent to the will of the foundation, utilizing its anomalous abilities to become invisible and stalk its prey to the advantage of his goals and aspirations. Through more testing and efforts, SCP 966 will submit to the will of the foundation and so will many more SCPs to come…
