What server are you applying for: SCP-RP (UK)
Your Username: Damien R. Jones
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:92058794
Discord Username: tescopiccolocherrytomatoes
Age: 25
What's your current playtime: 1 month, 3 days. (I've been here for almost 3 years altogether)
Do you have a mic: Yes.
Your characters name:
Foundation: Damien 'Ram' Jones
CI: D. 'Hammer'
Civilian: Aiden McKenzie
Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: This is the first application I've made for Staff Moderation.
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: No kicks/warns/bans.
How many hours can you be on everyday: Around 4 - 5+ hours (Beginning of vtime was poor due to LOA at the time)
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: Yes. I use to work in Quality Assurance and Bug Testing. I also use to manage staff rosters like staff complaints and questioning people who don't meet staff maintenance requirements. Although this was many years ago.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game:
- I use to host alot of events and spontaneous roleplay as a Game Master.
- I have over 100k scrap (God help me).
- Throughout my time on Civil Networks. I have held many Jr/Sr CL4 positions in Foundation and have reached BCOM in CI.
Why would you like to become a staff member: I've been here for a long time at this point, and after my time away from doing Game Master related tasks and taking a break, I would like to try a different approach in helping the server in any way I can. I feel becoming a staff member will allow me to do more for the community, this will also feel like a new challenge for me and I'm always willing to adapt and learn how to moderate again.
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: Personally, I've never had complaints on how staff conduct and represent themselves in sits and during general roleplay. My sits get responded to almost instantly. However, a common occurrence I've noticed is lack of moderation during low population. This is understandable as people have work/school etc. I can help out a lot during downtime thanks to my working conditions not conflicting my mornings.
