Application Questions
Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: Yes, I haven't had interest in many other departments or whitelisted SCPs so therefore have decided to not apply for them. Some people may think well staff being your first application in a bit of a stretch but give the rest of the application a read before you make any decision.
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: None,
How many hours can you be on everyday: 2/3+ minimum (I am a college student in my 2nd of 4th year so may be on more depending on assignment load I may be able to do more)
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: I have staff experience with Minecraft and Roblox, which I enjoyed when I was younger. When it comes to Gmod I liked exploring different servers and game modes. I’ve spent a significant amount of time playing on the SCP-RP UK server which I have enjoyed playing each day.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: Since coming back to CN SCP-RP, I started out in General Security to get some combat experience so I could try out for MTF. I ended up joining E-11 and have had a great time there, ranking up to Sergeant within a couple of weeks. I plan to stick with E-11 and keep climbing the ranks, hopefully making it to the CO team at some point.
I've also played MC&D a few times, which has led to some interesting encounters with different MTF units. A couple of times, I’ve managed to talk my way out of situations when they caught me, letting me keep going to grab samples and whatever else I needed to collect.
Why would you like to become a staff member: I've really enjoyed my time on the server, and after talking to a few people about whether they think I'd be a good fit for staff, I decided to give it a shot and see what the rest of the community thinks.
Unlike some new players, I actually took the time to read the rules before starting my journey on the server. This way, I knew what was allowed and didn’t end up ruining anyone’s experience while playing.
I had considered joining the GM team since I enjoy taking part in events and engaging in RP situations that require GM assistance. However, I realized it wouldn’t be the right fit for me, as I’d rather be involved in the RP itself rather than creating it and missing out on that side of things. That’s why I feel the staff team would be a better choice as I’d much rather help deal with issues that ruin RP and ensure that everyone is having a good experience. At the end of the day, this is a game we all play to de-stress from everyday life, and no one wants their experience ruined by someone who can’t follow the rules
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: My plan, if selected to be part of the SCP-RP UK staff team, is to help improve RP and ensure that the community has an exciting and enjoyable experience. I also want to assist newer players in understanding the rules so they don’t unknowingly ruin the experience for others. As an E-11 member, I have been in situations where players do not follow Fear-RP rules and try run away.
Regardless of whether I’m accepted onto the staff team, I plan to stay active on the server. This means that if I do become staff, I’ll be available to handle sits and assist players whenever I’m online.
