Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: I have 1x Micspam from 2022, 1x FearRP from 2022, 1x FailRP from 2023, 3x RDM from 2023-4, and 1x TPA from 2025. For the most recent one I have no excuse - I admit I did it to gain an advantage and upon verdict of this from a forum post asked staff to put the warnings on my record.
How many hours can you be on everyday: At least 1-2, however likely more.
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: Yes, I was staff here and before that an admin of and ran a SCP Secret Lab server from 2021 - 2023. In my time running the Secret Lab server, I was responsible for a lot of duties from responding to in-game and discord reports, and more imporantly a significant reform of the punishment guidelines that finally allowed perma bans for problematic players and harsh punishments for use of slurs and various -isms.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: I'm proud that since I started playing back in 2022, I have been in every MTF, every faction (even when GOC was forum apps based), and DEA special agent. I believe that this has shown me various aspects of the server and allowed me to understand the workings of the server and to show that I have potential. I've also reached CO in E-11 twice, showing that I am able to lead despite personal thoughts.
Why would you like to become a staff member: One key word: helping.
Back when I was staff in 2023, one of my highlights was helping players with questions and situations. I can see that it's very easy to be put off by the start of the server with the D-Class gameplay and first impression you may get from other d class and how foundation treat you. As older players leave this server to continue their lives when they do, new players are always the future of roleplay and gameplay and I believe that staff are a big part of that. Being able to deal with reports, answer questions, and reassuring players both old and new is what keep this server going along with the amazing content.
I also love the new ticket-based system and believe it's a massive improvemenet over the system from before that, and I believe that staff would be much more enjoyable for me this time round with it.
Now to address the elephant in the room to those who know of it, I was a member of the GCC server and I acknowledge that there's probably lots of screenshots of me shittalking staff and the server from the scrape. It was a time where I was angry and having a troubling finish for uni, though that's no excuse. I acknowledge that put simply: I was toxic and what I said wasn't fitting for someone applying for staff. This was 2 years ago now and I've changed since then, and I believe that it's an unconstructive attitude that I've moved on from. To any SSL/NL that are aware of the situation and would like to talk with me about it further, please feel free to DM me on discord or arrange a chat in TS3.
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: I would add a checklist, if there's not yet one, for forums posts to be closed after they are accepted / denied as some posts are moved to that category without replies then being turned off. Details are important, and it helps prevent griefing with necroposting.
