How many hours can you be on everyday: I don't have a set amount of hours but anywhere from 3 to 9 is standard for me.
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: I have some experience moderating discord servers. Managing roles, warning members.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: This one is difficult, but I'd have to say getting to know as many people as I did. Being recognised. Becoming OSA through roleplay.
This community means a lot to me, and it honestly makes me very proud that I get to be a part of it, and that there's people that'll tell me my roleplay is good, people that tell me they've missed me. As much as this community is niche, I'm glad I've found my spot within it. And I'm glad I've been able to get to know as many wonderful people in my journey here so far. Despite the occasional tumble that life throws at me.
Civil Networks has been about the longest lasting community I've remained active in. At first I thought I'd stick around for a month. Now I find myself looking forward to playing every day.
The story of Holly, and the.. wave of internships that my hiring into OSA accidentally caused is something I'll always think of rather fondly. To have a roleplay storyline that makes a D-Class becoming an OSA feel natural and understandable is a large feat, they're two sides of the same coin. So to have led a story which was just that, makes me proud.
After I'd gotten hired into OSA, D-class began getting a lot more opportunities within previously rather secluded teams, though internships weren't quite the same as the story I'd gone through, seeing someone get the opportunity to become an ECA, or even ISD through an internship, due to something I directly inspired always put a smile on my face. The fact that now, you didn't specifically have to create a character for a specific team, and instead.. could work your way towards it in a way that gives you a story to work with, alongside a bit more leniency towards mistakes.
Why would you like to become a staff member: I want to be helpful.
To give back to the community that's so far treated me well. I enjoy spending time on this server, and want to assist in making it a safe and welcoming place for those who may be trying it out like I once was.
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: Hmm, perhaps activity when it comes to late night/early morning. Though I can't say much besides that as I'm not exactly familiar with any deeper issues the staff team may be facing that aren't obvious from first glance.
I'm already a night owl, with most of my time on the server lasting up until 2 AM server time, though there has been a few times where I'd found myself playing early into the morning, going as far as 8 AM.
