Why are you applying for Security Captain?
- The reasons for why i am applying for Captain i feel i am ready for the next step in my GSD career. I feel it is time for me to take the next step towards my goal. I have recently had an issue with being what i believe to be falsely removed from DoISD, however i can assure you, i will not make that same choices again. This time, i will put all my focus on helping GSD to be its best version of itself, i may be speaking like im going for CoS, but no. I truely plan to assist the whole department as much as i can from the background until i am ready to get back into the spotlight which wont be for some time.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
- I am suitable for GSD Captain for a number of reasons;
Experience & Knowledge
As you know, i have spend my almost 3 & a half years on this site existing in several MTF ranks as well many high ranking roles such as DoISD, ECM & SA. Safe to say i am quite experienced in high roles. With this, i have become very knowledgeable most if not all current site & departmental policies (except DEA, never been DEA ever).
Commitment & Change
When i first started on the server back in 2022, i wasnt committed to being in one role, applying for different dpt applications. but since i first joined IA, i never changed paths, always focusing on the current one, one dpt at a time. This is still the same. After ISD, i spent a good few weeks pondering what to do with my time. frankly, i thought i was done with CN. Every time I thought about it, id keep getting this same thought of no matter what i did, people look only to the bad reasons for leaving high roles, believing i am not capable of change.
Leadership & Skills
Along with my experience, comes the leadership capabilities i possess, i have lead countless tasks, operations & scenarios during all my high roles, the most memorable being during my time in ISD, opening & instructing ISD in investigations & leading Audits/inspections in dpt bunks. In GSD i have lead a sweep before recently with observation from a captain, i have been helping CPT Taco Baker with sampling documents & using my SGT character with a little help from PAC, defended CoS Marrio Tazuul in almost being tribunal'd by ISD. Luckily i managed to get it settled with only a fine & citation.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
Organising Sweeps during Code 2's
Leading & assigning all GSD under their command around the site
conducting patrols with GSD
As the Site's Security, escorting & protecting all foundation personnel no matter the clearance (SG reference)
making documents regarding all GSD affairs.
In the absence of a Chief, you must oversee D-Block for any potential incidents.
As a CL4, you have many standard duties to follow such as Closing all Blastdoors during relevant codes, calling emergency codes when required, authorising Advanced Armoury during Code 5.
Defending D-Block during Emergency Codes.
