What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I've done a little bit of almost everything on the server minus the Sr CL4 positions besides DoM, I have a good knowledge of a quite varied amount of departments on the Site and I have already served as an Ethics Committee Assistant back under a prior Ethics Board, I know that seriousness is expected in the role and I know fully what it means to assist a Site Command group. I can confidently say during my time as all these different roles, I have interacted very well with different councils and different ethics committee boards, I like to believe I am trustworthy throughout the site and I have already made different projects and pieces of RP during my time in different Departments including but not limited to: Medical RP back when I was Consultant/DoM, Research RP now as an Executive with at least 4 completed Projects under my belt involving other personnel with 1 still open for Researchers to tackle. I do believe that as an Assistant and to be honest, the Council too are one of, if not, THE main RP providers for the community, I want to do more with that and with my previous experience I think I could benefit the Council massively.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
There are quite a few responsibilities of the Overseer Assistants in RP, the IC responsibilities of them are to be a connection or extra hand to the council for situations that the Council either do not need to be in person for or find themselves unable to attend at that particular moment, the Job of the Overseer Assistant is to serve the Council as a whole and the Individual member they may be assigned to.
Pass down orders/potential projects to department leaders that the Council have deemed necessary. Report to the Council the ongoings of the site and where changes have occurred and situations have arised without risking any unnecessary exposure to council members. Help create documentation and other valuable bits of paperwork that the council require.
Your job is in your name, you are an assistant to the overseers. You must complete ALL orders given to you by the Overseer Council even if it is as simple as passing on files, you must do so without delay and without risking yourself or the council. In some situations you'll be given an order and you may require A-1 assistance to see it through but this is only done on Council orders and only if the Council allow you to.
As mentioned previously it is very important to be able to create and Lead RP effectively on site, same as it is for all other CL4 members. Keeping the Overseers or (to everyone else) the Site Inspectors up to date with all necessary ongoings of RP is very important.
Signing of forms on behalf of the Overseers, this could be as simple as authorisation forms for certain bits of testing, this could be documentation keeping so no evidence or RP is lost alongside being a point of contact for the council.
Standard CL4 roles such as Opening/Closing of blastdoors or the activation of tesla gates should the need arise and no other CL4s have done so yet during an SCP Breach.
There are going to be times where the site has SCP Breaches (Who could've thought) but depending on the severity of the breaches, you may be called upon as an Assistant to authorise AA if no one else is on that can authorise it, this should only be done during Code 5 Status and as long 2 or more Euclid/Keter SCPs have breached and the breach is taking longer than expected, this can be authorised for MTF NCO+ however E-11 will always take priority.
Enforcing the FLC is very important in order to maintain stability around the site, Assistants will be looked up to by lower Clearance Levels so upholding and enforcing the FLC when required is a must.
Being a direct Liaison with departments should they fall under the attention of the council., you want to make sure as an assistant that no pointless or tedious work is passed to the Overseers if it does not require their intervention.
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
As I said before I have done a lot in the community when it comes to enlarging my knowledge of all departments, I've been an Assistant before but for the Ethics Committee and I know I can provide quality RP to those who are actually interested in Roleplaying, The Overseer assistants are the face of the Council they are relied upon a lot and I truly believe I have the know-how and skillset to bring useful knowledge to that role.
I want to be an OSA to bring more RP into the community to try and move away from combat focused interactions but I also want to really show the importance of the council in RP and be involved more in every department on the Councils behalf while they handle the more important things on Floor 3.
