What will you do to stop this from happening again: I will, in the future consider how a word can be understood in a different meaning. I simply didnt think about how this word COULD be meant and that was an honest mistake that will not happen to me again.
I am proud of the friendly and nice Community I found on Civil Networks Gmod SCP : RP Servers and would not want to do anything to harm this friendly climate. I am truly sorry for not considering how my words could have been understood and will guaratee to think twice before saying anything in the future..
Why should you be unbanned: As I truly didnt mean to offend anyone using the word "circlejerk" in a joking way, meaning the harmless way of saying a group is discussing the usual ever lasting topics..
When I said what I said I wasn't really aware of the other peculiar meaning the word cirklejerk might be associated with. To be honest it was just so deep into my everyday vocabulary that I wouldnt think about how someone might misinterpret it.
As I truly understand, why such a word might be flagged as inappropriate its still important to see the context te word was used in. I simply saw a group of people who I assumed were chatting and joked about them "circlejerking" a.k.a telling the ususal SCP:RP stuff that always gets told.. In no way referring to anything sexual or interacting with anyone in a sexual or "erotic" way.
As it is only a 3 day ban, therefore I would say a punishment on the rather lighter scale I respect if you, the beam of the community deny my appeal to get unbanned but I'd really enjoy being able to play on the server in the following three days.
In the Civil Network Community I haven't only found a safe space to express myself but also many friends who I can chat with. Whenever I play ít seems to help with my social anxiety and is giving me a way to interact with other people without the fear of getting made fun of or similar situations that might have a negative impact on me.
