Why should you be unbanned: This was not LTAP, the admin claimed he was not issuing me a warning for metagaming, but proceeded to claim he was going to keep me there as long as he wanted to and I will not allow that; you cannot hold me captive when you are saying you're not going to warn me for anything. LTAP is leaving to avoid punishment, I did not leave to avoid punishment but left to avoid being uncomfortably held without reason by you. I want to escalate this to a staff complaint if you want to dispute this. Never in two years of playing has a staff member gotten so mad that I tried to make a joke about someone looking like your twin, that you pull me to a sit and argue I was metagaming, to say your not even going to warn me but because I was frustrated you were going to make me trapped in that room with you.

For more information, the admin got mad that I saw someone following him who looked exactly like him and I claimed they were twins and wondered if they had different first names. He pulled me to a sit and claimed I was metagaming. I explained they looked identical and had keycards on the front of the jacket. He expressed he was going to not warn me. I expressed my frustration at making such a big deal out of a light joke, he then claimed he was going to keep me there as long as he wanted so I left being uncomfortable with him.

Never have I had such a negative experience with staff that I have to purposefully be aware of this guy so I avoid him. It's shameful.

I was asked to issue an LTAP ban for the moderator who took your sit.

I reviewed his story of the situation along with the relevant evidence provided.

I understand that you may not want to be in a room with a moderator for an extended period, but the moderator was not finished explaining the situation. He wanted to ensure you understood the potential metagaming issues you were creating. Instead, you repeatedly stated that you didn’t care, which indicated to him that you were not interested in understanding and following the server rules. The moderator warned you that if you continued this behaviour during the conversation, he would need to issue a warning. However, you continued to say that you didn't care and then left.

I have spoken to the staff member regarding the unprofessional behaviour that occurred.

Do you realise that your actions may indicate metagaming and negatively impact the overall player experience?

No I realize that but I said alright do you understand how I could see a keycard on a jacket and assume your name was going to be on it A, im in your research department and should know my superiors name B, and they did look exactly identical on my screen. He could have explained that he could see that point of view but in this server RP we ignore those things and you must see the keycard, instead he acted like I was completely in the wrong for a non obvious thing- and then he went on to say he was going to keep me in there for as long as he wanted. I do understand if that is the rule that I should not use information that Im not allowed to yes. As the information shouldnt be used because you need to see the keycard for names regardless. but also is that true even if im in the same research department?

You can identify a job by its model, but all models associated with the same job are identical. This can result in confusion, where someone might mistakenly claim to be the same person or identical twins, even though you don't actually know their names. Asking for identification to determine if someone is in disguise, based solely on their model or the name displayed above their head, is considered metagaming. Since you mentioned that you have played on the server for two years, you should be aware of this rule.

To answer your question, yes, you may recognize some names, but you cannot link a name to a model or job unless you interact with them and they tell you.

I decided to remove the ban, but it will stay on your record.
If you want it removed from your history, feel free to make a complaint against me in the complaint section.

I already talked to the staff member in your ticket regarding unprofessional behaviour.
Allow me some time to remove your ban and please try to avoid doing this again in the future.
