What server you were banned on: SCP-RP (USA)

Your in-game name: "Cursed"

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:89421382

Ban Reason: MRDM | FailRP

Date of ban: 05/18/2025

Who banned you: "Crush"

Ban length: 2 weeks

What will you do to stop this from happening again: I just won't mess with an 096 picture. I figured it was okay and when telling the staff in game they said it was okay in the moment.

Why should you be unbanned: I was genuinely trying to look at what was best for server health. The way I saw it 096 was already breached and had been breached for a generous amount of time. This was during Lowpop where large breaches can last for hours if there are not staff on to nuke the server. Considering that and that another breach was coming soon I thought it best for server health to cause 096 to breach. Make it a quick breach, and recontain him prior to the start of the next breach as to make the breaches manageable. When talking to staff in game the picture had already been moved from its original location once. I do apologize and won't do it in the future, but that was where my thought process was at and letting breaches on lowpop get out of control can be awful to play against for 90% of the server population.

Hi @Plum ,

Thank you for taking the time to make a ban appeal.

After discussion with multiple server leadership members, we have come to the conclusion that we will be denying this appeal. Due to your rank in the game, you should have known that this would have been against the rules. As well, with your past experience in staff and time in the server, you should have known that you cannot ask a moderator for a clarification of the rules. If this is not the verdict you were hoping for, I apologize, but this is the verdict we have come to.

Kind regards,
SL
