Ban length: It was originally a 1 week ban but it went to 16 week when I tried to join on my friend's account today, when there was only 2 days left until the ban was removed. When I joined today I was with my friends at my house and we both played gmod on my pc and him his pc and I had forgotten about the ban and since when my friend joined the server from my house he had the same IP as me so it acted like I joined on an alt.
What will you do to stop this from happening again: I'll be more mindful of how I speak to staff and other players, especially when I disagree with a decision or a call made by someone in a superior role in-game. Instead of reacting immaturely or disrespectfully in the moment, I'll take a step back before responding, or just not respond at all if I'm frustrated. I understand that being disrespectful toward superiors undermines the RP experience for everyone and makes it harder for staff to do their job. Going forward I'll treat staff and other players with the same respect I'd expect from them, even when I don't agree with something.
Why should you be unbanned: I take full responsibility for my behavior and understand why it led to a ban. I genuinely enjoy this server and the RP community, and I'd like the chance to show that I've learned from this and can follow the rules going forward. I understand if the staff want to keep an eye on my behavior after being unbanned, and I'm willing to accept that.
