What will you do to stop this from happening again: I will not spam brain rot docs again. I will also proceed to stay up to date with the newer rules.
Why should you be unbanned: I am writing to respectfully request a reconsideration of my ban, or at least a reduction of its duration to a few days.
As a researcher, my work depends heavily on the ability to write, access, and print documents. A full month restriction effectively prevents me from carrying out essential responsibilities, which has serious implications for my work and ongoing commitments.
On the day in question, I was in the presence of multiple site administrators and consultants and staff. I made efforts to show my actions openly and repeatedly, and at no point was I given any warning or indication that what I was doing could result in a ban of this severity. Had I been made aware of the potential consequences, I would have immediately stopped and removed the brain rots.
Given these circumstances, I believe a reduced sentence to a few days or a complete removal of sentence would be a fair and reasonable outcome. A verbal or formal warning at the time would have been sufficient to correct my behavior, and I would have complied without hesitation. I fully understand the importance of adhering to site policies and will ensure that I am more cautious moving forward.
