What will you do to stop this from happening again: I will check the rules myself and look over the new rule changes. I will remember that the mayor is non-combative next time I play. I will stop and think more logically next time I play.
Why should you be unbanned: I genuinely have not been on mayor for close to 3 months and I haven't looked at the recent rule changes, when I got on mayor I wanted to check the rules but when I clicked the rules tab it was blank and wouldn't load, because of this I resorted to asking a ranger that was level 220 if I was combative and he said yes. I believed a high level such as him would have the answer to my question so I trusted his word and proceeded to be combative. The GOC who made the sit also before hand proceeded to run into ranger station and shoot 3 people (including me) for no reason. This was called out in comms and believing that I was combative, I began to shoot him. I didn't consider it NLR as he was called out in ranger comms after I respawned so I knew it in character, and he was also right in front of me (Trespassing in ranger station was also KOS at the time since we were getting shot at by CI). After this happened and I explained this to the admin, I was told to make a sit on it and said I would. He then promptly banned me before I could make the sit over the possible MRDM which the GOC had no reason for since he ran into ranger spawn and immediately killed all three people with his stronger arsenal. In the end, all I'm trying to say is that I messed up on accident and it won't happen again.
