What will you do to stop this from happening again: Before I make a joke, I will pause and think as to whether the joke is appropriate and follows the servers' guidelines. I will take the consequences in mind and try to limit myself in order to prevent myself from making a mistake like I had.
Why should you be unbanned: I fully understand my joke was inappropriate and the punishment is absolute warranted. However, I would like to clarify that at no point did I mean any harmful intent with it and only meant to make those I was with laugh. In the moment I thought it would have been funny, but I had very much so overstepped a boundary and I regret it. I will ensure that I'm more self-aware of what I'm saying and shall furthermore be mindful of my wording. I take full responsibility of my actions and apologize to those who were bothered by my joke.
