What server you were banned on: SCP-RP (USA)

Your in-game name: Marcus Maddox

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:515529390

Ban Reason: RDM (B)

Date of ban: 10/11/2025

Who banned you: Miroslav Vlanenko

Ban length: 6 hours

What will you do to stop this from happening again: Using less prejudice when handling combative situations to not infringe on other people's role play experiences.

Why should you be unbanned: During the incident, multiple D-Class were actively shooting at combatives on the catwalk, so I opened the airlock door to shoot them. Unfortunately, one of the D-Class I terminated was already downed and not involved in the recent onslaught; I had assumed they were since they were already downed. While this technically constitutes RDM, it was the result of crossfire rather than intentional misconduct. While I understand and respect the server’s rules, and I take full responsibility for the mistake, I have had no other previous warnings for RDM in the past 50-ish days. I will just focus on my college finals during the duration of the ban; I just simply wish to keep my record clear of a ban to remain eligible for future positions within the community.

CLIP FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE:

Howdy Marcus, I'm just going to start my comment with this, The clip that was provided clearly shows that the D-class didn't have a weapon/contraband and was Downed from another D-class, Logs did confirm this and due to you having a prior RDM Warn within the last 3 months it was moved up to a Class b. Players should take these situations based of fact and what really happened, furthermore it is recommend to get as much information before taking action and in this case, you sent on assumptions.

Uh hello, first off; in the clip you can see and hear the gunfire going on, then you can see me opening the door where I, in my perspective, I assumably end the ongoing assault.

Appeal Accepted

hey @Akiisqt

Upon reviewing the situation, I believe this was unintentional and there was no intent to violate server rules.

In the future, please ensure that you identify a player before engaging them, whether they are downed or at full health.

The ban has already expired and has been removed from your record.

Best regards,
Holland
