What server you were banned on: SCP-RP (USA)
Your in-game name: richard 'northcarolina'
Your SteamID: 76561198852644482
Ban Reason: macros/scripting
Date of ban: today
Who banned you: crush
Ban length: 1 week
What will you do to stop this from happening again: I will be sure to use a mouse instead of a trackpad to collect scrap with. Additionally, I will not limit my FPS in garry's mod.
Why should you be unbanned: When I was collecting scrap, I was pulled to a sit by an amazing admin by the name of Crush. He said I was "spinning" and had "robotic movement" while collecting scrap, so therefor I was scripting. No script could possibly be accurate enough to stay on the same track with the god-awful lag on civil networks.
What actually happened was I was using my high-sensetivity trackball on my keyboard (the red thing you push) to control my game, which was running at a good 6 fps due to my laptop having shitty components. Here is an image of a similar trackball: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0a/Mouse_pointing_stick.jpeg
It's very silly to suggest that someone would be using a macro or script to collect scrap. I highly doubt that this would be possible without advanced software that communicated with gmod. Additionally, doing so would be pointless considering I was not AFK and immediately stopped moving once I was pulled to the sit.
