What will you do to stop this from happening again: I will give more clear verbal warnings to D-class to not body-block me.

Why should you be unbanned: In the situation, I was a Security Captain, and was in D-block cells searching for contraband. When I finished and turned around and tried to leave, I was body-blocked by D-class, and after I gave them a warning and 3 seconds to leave, I shot them. When I proceeded to the next cell, I did the same, except without the verbal warning, as I presumed that the D-class would have heard and understood that body-blocking would lead to being killed, yet they did it anyways. So, after waiting 1-2 seconds, I killed them too.

When I was brought to a sit, I was told that not only did the verbal warning not count, but that I cannot kill people for body-blocking, which I believe is blatantly wrong, especially when it comes to D-class. I was told that I should instead call a sit on the D-class for body-blocking, which seems very counterintuitive, as waiting for staff to come pull the D-class away from the door area instead of killing them directly harms roleplay.

I believe that my warnings, ordering the D-class to move, along with the threat of being in D-block cells in the first place, gives me reason to shoot the D-class blocking my way out of the cells. I do not think that calling a sit for body-blocking, while waiting in D-block cells and prolonging the sweep, is efficient and beneficial to roleplay.

I will explain my side of the story so another SL member can review it as normal.

A sit was initiated regarding potential mass RDM.

I took the sit and watched the Medal clip that was presented to me.

In the clip, it is shown that you killed four D-Class personnel.

The first kill occurred when you entered the cell area, but I couldn't determine if a verbal warning was given to move, which would be necessary to put the D-class under fearRP.

The second person you killed also seemed not to receive a verbal warning to move or any attempt to invoke fearRP before you shot him.

For the last two kills, it was clear that you turned around and instantly shot the two D-Class standing near the doorway without issuing any verbal or non-lethal commands to move away. Based on this evidence, I determined that RDM was occurring.

I mentioned that you should make a sit if a player is actively bodyblocking you, and that you shouldn't just shoot them because they are in your way.

1.02 Do not RDM/RVDM- Random Deathmatch or Random Vehicle Deathmatch. You must have a real and justifiable reason to kill or attempt to kill another player. Players should also be given reasonable time to comply with demands.
• You gave someone clear verbal commands, with time to comply, and they fail to do so.

Regarding verbal commands, you should use non-lethal options as a first approach. Shooting should only occur if the individual continues to act in a manner that poses a serious threat after being given a clear warning. Immediate lethal force is not justified unless absolutely necessary.
