How many hours can you be on everyday: depends on the day and time but id say roughly 2-4 hours.
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: I've been a moderator for a few twitch streamers (few years ago) and I'm a career councilor in the navy and a personnel manager at a law firm in real life.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achieved in-game: One of the things I am most proud of is having reached a Senior CL4 position on my very first application. It reflects the dedication, effort, and consistency I have put into the department over time. I am also proud of the impact I have had on GSD personnel development, having trained and mentored a significant number of the Captains currently serving within GSD. Seeing those individuals grow into leadership positions and contribute to the department's success has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my time in leadership. I believe my experience, commitment, and track record of developing personnel have prepared me well for this opportunity.
Why would you like to become a staff member: I want to become a staff member because I enjoy helping maintain a positive, fair, and professional environment for the community. Throughout my time in leadership positions, I have gained experience handling disputes, enforcing policies, and assisting members when issues arise. As a moderator, I would use those skills to help ensure rules are applied consistently, support both new and veteran members, and contribute to the overall growth and stability of the community. I am interested in being part of the team that works behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly and to help create the best experience possible for everyone involved.
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: If I could improve one thing on the staff team, it would be communication and transparency between staff members and the community. While staff often handle many responsibilities behind the scenes, members may not always understand why certain decisions are made. I believe providing clearer explanations when appropriate, maintaining open communication channels, and encouraging constructive feedback would help build trust between staff and the community.
Internally, I would also encourage better coordination among staff members through regular discussions and information sharing to ensure everyone is on the same page. This can help reduce misunderstandings, improve consistency in moderation decisions, and create a more effective staff team overall. While no staff team is perfect, I believe continuous communication and collaboration are key to long-term success.
