Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: For staff, yes, though I've previously applied for developer here https://civilnetworks.net/community/threads/addons-application-icarus-developer-application.35535/
Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: No
How many hours can you be on everyday: At least 3 hours, probably more, depending on the day
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: Yes, I've been a network director/lead developer at another Garry's Mod/Rust network, where I was in charge of all of the day-to-day operations and management, second to the owner. I was there for over 4 years, and I left about 3 weeks ago as I wanted to seek something new.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: I'd say I'm most proud of reaching captain in O-1. When I started out on the server, I joined E-11 and had my sights set on getting into O-1 from the beginning, though I doubted I'd even be able to get into AO. During that time, I worked to improve things such as my combat, RP, hacking, etc. (which admittedly, I was NOT the greatest at when I started) until I was finally able to get scouted.
Why would you like to become a staff member: I would like to join the staff team so that I may assist in the community in more ways than just development. My main drive as a developer is seeing the positive impacts to the community from things I work on, and I'd love to also be able to assist in making those impacts on the staff side of things.
With my previous experience, I have a lot of insight into assisting with problems that others might not be able to assist with, alongside knowledge on how to handle more sensitive situations and how to calm down individuals in stressful situations. I'm a quick learner and very adaptable, so adapting to how things are done here more than likely won't be a problem for me.
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: I would say probably the biggest stress point for any staff team is the amount of tickets received, and keeping the response times for those tickets low, and having more staff to handle those tickets would always be helpful. I would say this is especially true at times where not many staff might be on (earlier in the day/later at night), at which times I would be able to be online to handle said tickets.
