Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: Yes, in another community I was an assistant manager, organising meetings, managing staff requirements and rosters, while also continuously moderating throughout that time, lasted about 9 months until I resigned for personal reasons.
Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achived in-game: I am proud about where I have come so far. I enjoyed the time I spent in E-11, engaging in 008 tests and a very rare 610 test. I am also proud of achieving Security Captain, becoming a junior leadership role within that department, and creating the all new 'Inner D-Block Captain Program'
Why would you like to become a staff member: The primary reason I would like to become a staff member is because I genuinely enjoy the time I spend on this server and would like to make that time a bit more meaningful assisting with issues outside of roleplay. I have experienced my fair share of rule breakers and want to be there for others when they experience this to ensure roleplay is being acted out while lining up with the server rules. Another reason is because I would like more experience being a staff member in a community to get more knowledge behind my back of the team that enforces such a highly popular server. Even as an ISD member in roleplay, I am gaining experience of upholding the FLC, and think that I can apply a bit of that knowledge and experience to the staff team. My other reason is because I truly want to make a contribution to the bigger picture. I know that staff members don't always have it easy and can sometimes not respond to every ticket within a timely manner especially when the player to staff ratio is out of place. I would like the opportunity to lift the load and carry some weight on my shoulders.
If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: I would say the only things that need to be improved on is clarity and information. What I meant by that is when tickets are placed against players and no punishment needs to be issued, it would not hurt a staff member to talk to the party being accused and just try and get both sides of the story and educate anyone who is in the wrong. As for information, tickets are very vague. Most of the tickets I've made are just "hi, reviewing" and "Handled, anything else?" followed by departure. I think that staff members should perhaps explain a bit more about what action was taken with the accused person and ask if the person who made the ticket what they would like done against the person the ticket was created against.
