well to answer your question, i would say we are in 2022, current day. Its easier to do stuff/docs and we du have railguns so.....i guess we are in 2022 ?

It's 2022. We use fax machines because they're more secure. And many government facilities still use old telephones as they're closed circuit and thus more secure
