For how long have you played on CG SCP: 1306.483333 Hours at the time of writing this application.
Age: 17
In what country are you located?: United Kingdom
Time zone: GMT
Character name(s): Aaron "Raven" Richards
Civilian name: George Maynard
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?:
Yes, and I use it regularly.

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
Executive Researcher [Held]
Ethics Committee Assistant Coordinator [Holding]
Omega-1 LT [Holding]

Have you received any kicks/bans/warnings? and why?:
1 FailRP Warn on the 1st of August for failing to value a hostage's life, Since then I have worked on my actions and Haven't received any secondary warnings.

What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I will be applying for the Open Position of Ethics Committee Member, the reason I am choosing to apply is I believe the Committee requires dedicated interactions and solutions to make sure the Code of Ethics is being updated regularly with amendments and being correctly coordinated with not only Site Command/Administration but also the Site Staff whether that be differences to specific codes that alter Department Conduct or Site Operations, Communication, and Understanding is necessary for the continuation of everyday Site policies.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I believe I would be one of the candidates for the open position as I have multiple different qualities which I will always show while roaming the site; I will list them below.

Overall Kindness and Appreciation to all Site Personnel, I will always go the extra mile when on as my Assistant character and make sure that D Class are being asked how they are and If they require anything or any complaints they may have. I always provide support and credit to Mobile Task forces upon completion of excellent work for example: After a Containment Breach, I will credit the service personnel involved (E-11, Containment Specialists, Combat Medics, Other MTFs, Etc). During my rounds of walking around inspecting areas of the facility for misconduct/ethics Violations, I will always greet personnel who are familiar faces and ask them how they are along with questions regarding their department and or themselves.

Strong Communication Skills, During my work from previous experience I have built up communication skills which is vital for an Ethics Member to have. Failure to communicate breaks multiple different Foundations in which we stand, if Communication is not upheld within the Committee and the Site Adminstration+ we fail our objectives to correctly monitor areas of the Foundation as a whole.

Experience, Due to my previous work as an Ethics Committee Assistant Coordinator and an Executive Researcher I have experience with upholding the code of Conduct for the Research Department and Site as a whole. With my Experience as an Executive Researcher, I have a lot of necessary experience with looking over Documentation for both Research Projects and Testing that requires ECM+ Approval. Experience as an ECA Coordinator has opened the door to working more closely with Ethics Committee members and the Assistants in case they needed help with Reports/daily affairs I would be able to assist where able and provide support with Ethics Committee Approval.

Dedication, I am a very committed member of the Assistants Program and am on-site very regularly to assist Site Personnel and complete Department Audits and speak with Department Leadership and or Personnel to ask about their Leadership and or Department Quality to assure that they are running smoothly. I will always answer questions in regard to the Code of Ethics, Conduct, and or Department Policies to Site Staff. On Regular occasions, I will accompany Researchers on their quests to explore SCP Subjects and enquire about the Ethical nature of the testing and in regard to what they expect to see and interview them afterward to ask about their findings.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
Approving of Research Projects/Testing - The Ethics Committee Approves tests such as SCP-008 Sampling as due to the nature of the use of D Class Personnel along with the CL4 Entity. Ethics Can also approve Researchers to collect 1000mls more samples than normal sample policy should their documentation meet standards and be a well-rounded research project. Along with Keter-Keter Crosstests and other problematic Crosstests which may involve the usage of Class-D Personnel.

Mentorship - As an Ethics Committee Member you are provided with ECAs assigned to specific departments for reports, It is up to the ECM and Coordinators to properly mentor the new Assistants into their new role and make sure they get the correct access to documentation and introduction to everything which the Ethics Committee conducts such as Testing requirements, AA Approval, Mc&D Site Approval, D-Block Sweeps, and Department Audits.

Leadership - During times of Crisis on site it is necessary that Site Command/Administration takes control of the Situation and provides support and advice to those involved, For Example - During a mass breach (3 SCP Blackout) It is necessary to divert all necessary MTF/Security Forces to tackle the threat and get the site back to normal operations as fast as possible. This could involve the allotment of Advanced Armory which is a crucial need for the majority of breaches that turn into 3-5 SCP breaches. Not only do the Members of the Committee need to show Leadership upon the site personnel but also O-1 Operatives and the Regiment as a whole as O-1 answers solely to the Committee and it is necessary that orders get passed down and are formulated correctly.

Resolving Department Conflicts - Another Critical foundation is that the Committee is usually at the front of Department conflicts and will schedule meetings (ingame/Externals) to deal with any reoccurring issues with a Department; Conduct, policies, and or Leadership. Being Site Command they are responsible for making sure that all departments are completing necessary needs towards the Site.

Responsibilities - During Containment breaches Site Command is required to Authorize the following; AA, KOS Past Airlock for D Class, Calling a Code Black when Necessary, and also Activating the Alpha Warhead only if absolutely necessary when the Site is lost (During a 008 Outbreak for example).
During Normal Site Operations, they are required to uphold the Code of Conduct, Site Security from external threats, Code of Ethics, and Department Policies.

Treatment of D-Class Personnel - The Ethics Committee is extremely invested in making sure that D-Class Personnel are treated Humanely and are not being mistreated/abused by Gensec and or other Site Staff; This Could involve involuntary Training (Dragged from cells/Medical line), Not being treated after being taken from medical line.

Site Command as a whole is required to create Roleplay for the Site Staff and make sure the quality of Roleplay is maintained.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
Members of the Committee put forward their votes for the Directors of Internal Affairs and Medicine and come together as a collective to successfully make sure the department receives the best care from the best candidate.

The Committee votes on current open Ethics Committee Assistant applications and will decide who should be provided a spot on the exclusive program.

The Committee also has a big standpoint in meetings within Discord/Teamspeak with Department Leaders, Site Administration, and other Site Command, The Ethics Committee Members have recently gone to the UK Site for a visit assuming to apply knowledge from a different site and different policies to compare with the USA's.

Dr.Blackwood: Ah Yes, This Aforementioned Red Fluid is the reason you are here; Can you explain what this man looked like?

Aaron: He was a hooded figure around 5'9 and was very quick to answer questions almost like he knew what I was thinking.

Dr.Blackwood: Interesting, Well, Mr Richards, We are not just any Government Organisation in fact we have almost no influence from Governments worldwide.
