If so, why?: Yes, 2 RDM 1 in 2023, 1 in April, nlr and power gaming in Jan, name convention in Nov, afk in Jan, fail RP in April, inappropriate conduct in early May for saying a few words to someone that did not feel safe when I said it, and got banned for 3 days for it and 1 for using an auto clicker over night on accident.
What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why? I am applying for the Ethics Committee member position because I have significant experience with the server, particularly in regard to ethical matters and the community. My perspective on the server has been shaped largely by ethics, and I would like to take this opportunity to use my knowledge to assist others, just as I have been supported in the past.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee? Personally, I believe I am the best candidate for this position because I have developed over time as an ECA and ISD, both of which involve close working relationships with ethics and apply ethics to their roles and tasks on-site. "Furthermore, I am determined to maintain these standards and assure that the Ethics Committee is able to address challenges effectively in the future. Another reason I would like to add also would be my great communication skills and remaining objective, which are key components of being able to make fair and balanced decisions within the Ethics Committee.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
One of the primary duties of the Ethics Committee is to thoroughly analyse research proposals and cross-testing requisitions for adherence to FLC, considering not merely legality, but morality. For instance, the committee will stop on any testing protocols that include torturous tests done to anomalies or that clearly endanger site security and personnel safety. To reduce or eliminate fatalities among the staff and D-class personnel. For testing, both sampling and cross-testing can be approved by Ethics Committee however, only if such actions are necessary especially in the absence of Executives or Research and Site Directors. All documents reviewed and approved by the committee have to be written in a professional manner that would meet our highest standards.
It is the responsibility of the Committee to address conflict resolution between staff at site level, mostly dealing on issues through mediation. In this role, the Ethics Committee works closely with the ISD to deal with and resolve inter-personal conflicts that might affect operational effectiveness or morale.
EC members are able to set the facility under Code Black in response to numerous incidents involving dangerous anomalies. In more serious cases, members have access to classified procedures for which one can initiate the use of AA or MTF contingents for help in containing a breach. In the event of a D-block breach with multiple instances of "REDACTED" being capable of taking place in quick succession, Ethics Committee members may sanction a mass termination of all D-class personnel an absolute last protocol meant to be used only once control is permanently lost over D-block.
Members of the Ethics Committee also have the duty to protect a facility’s reputation by engaging in Interal and External problems. This involves sorting out practical obstacles such as the equipment that doesn’t work on a given day and mitigating unintended information leaks that could spread panic downward among more junior staff. Keeping cool heads and maintaining control is crucial, but in order to do so, it’s important to avoid a panic that may result in people taking unwise actions that compromise security on a wider scale.
