Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community?
I have served as a Game Master for a diverse range of servers, including a clone server, a military-themed server, and a backrooms server. In these roles, I was responsible for managing gameplay dynamics and enhancing player engagement through creative event planning.
Why would you like to become a Gamemaster?
I love that I can open up player togetherness, and let them feed off each other’s experiences with their gaming. What I enjoy even more is storytelling and building up one-of-a-kind stories to enrich your gaming experience and guarantee everyone a good time per session. Not only does being a game master combine my passions for gaming, leadership, and creativity, but I also look forward to designing exciting challenges and events that both entertain as well as promote teamwork and tactical planning amongst players. At the end of the day, I would be honored to be a part of a good gaming community that respects and values everyone who wants to go on new adventures with us.
What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special among the other applicants?
I can break the mold and give your server a breath of fresh, ELECTRIC air backed by my years of Game Mastering in all sorts of genres! My ability to spin a compelling narrative and create unforgettable scenes while engaging the players will draw them in and keep them coming back for more. What separates me from other applicants: What I believe that distinguishes me from the rest of the candidates is my special ability to get in touch with the pulse of the community! I know what the players want and how to make it so it touches their hearts. I love making an environment where creativity is given and players lead the way. My positive, proactive method for encouraging unity and making everyone feel like a contributor will turn your server into a bustling center of friendship and excitement. With my passion for storytelling and unwavering dedication to cultivating a welcoming community, your server is ready to rise to great heights and become the number one destination for gamers looking to forge memories.
Please list 3 small event ideas (Which would involve at least one side of the server):
SCP Investigation Night: Host a social where players pretend to be MTF members investigating a series of unsolved incidents around various SCPs. Players can be organized into teams and assigned specific tasks, like interviewing NPC witnesses, gathering evidence, or pursuing anomalous phenomena. After the activity, each group shall report what they have learned, which shall be combined by the other students to create a collaborative reflection on the significance of the findings. The event promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and roleplay, and has players engaging in the investigative side of the SCP universe.
SCP Artifact Show and Tell: A day where players can bring in their SCPs and give a little story behind them/speak as if they are their SCPs and allude to containment procedures. This might be a nice way for players to show off their artistic talent and delve into some lore. People can vote for their favorite SCPs, and then the winners are implemented into the game as a reward or as an homage. This would help create a sense of community and cooperative effort to allow people's voices to be heard.
Field Research Expedition: Set up a scavenger hunt-type event where people have to explore locations in the server and answer questions or do something to record data on different SCPs or anomalous things. You could give players a classic scavenger hunt or simply have them search for things like the ones on this list, write down what they’ve found, or even complete the “how to do” task found here in the SCP lore. This event promotes discovery and camaraderie while teaching players about the SCP universe.
Please list a map change event idea (Involving both sides and the entire server):
SCP Anomaly Reconfiguration Event: A map-wide event occurring in each round, where a very powerful SCP anomaly reconfigures the Facility, dramatically changing the layout of the map for that round. This incident would include both SCP Staff and Class-D workers learning to adapt to the changes.
Event Details:
Phase 1: Anomaly Activation. The incident begins with an abrupt containment failure of a high-level SCP, which initiates a temporal anomaly. Players are notified about unusual occurrences, like moving walls, vanishing rooms, and changes to SCP containment procedures. This is a phase of exploration and investigation, as players attempt to gauge the full scale and scope of the changes.
Phase 2: Joint Response: SCP staff must cooperate with Class-D to restore order to the facility. Players may make temporary alliances to achieve objectives such as repairing containment systems, gathering abnormality data, or rescuing captured staff. This phase would also feature mini-challenges or puzzle-solving tasks that have to be solved by working together and in proximity to each other.
Phase 3: Map Transformation: Once a set amount of objectives have been completed, the map will begin to transform during gameplay in real-time, evacuating all standing players and keeping remaining players until scheduled in a new and fresh version of the current seed. This might include the introduction of the new SCPs or the development of additional properties for existing ones, adding new layers of gameplay.
Stage 4: Last Stand: Players must face down the anomaly at its point of origin as the event reaches its conclusion. Perhaps this is a boss fight against some particularly strong SCP or a race to contain the anomaly before it tears the whole facility apart.
Awards: Players may receive some rare gear, achievements, or titles for their actions in the event. We can keep the new layout of the map as a permanent change, after all, in the server history reference to the online carnage.
List an example mission for each of the following (O-1, A-1, Nu-7, E-11, CI, UNGOC & Foundation Staff):
O-1 Mission: "Ethical Oversight in Chaos"
As the facility undergoes a reality-bending transformation, O-1 is dispatched to investigate reports of an SCP that has gained the ability to manipulate perceptions and alter the ethical boundaries of those it encounters. The team must navigate the shifting landscape, where reality is distorted, and ethical dilemmas arise at every turn. O-1's primary objective is to assess the situation and ensure that all actions taken during the crisis adhere to the Foundation's ethical standards.
While traversing the chaotic environment, O-1 operatives will face hallucinations that challenge their perceptions of allies and enemies, complicating their mission to contain the rogue SCP. They must make critical decisions about how to engage with affected personnel and the SCP itself, weighing the moral implications of their actions. Successfully containing the SCP will not only stabilize the area but also lead to the discovery of a new section of the facility that holds valuable insights into the nature of ethics in anomalous situations, ultimately shaping future ethical guidelines for the Foundation.
A-1 Mission: "Directive Anomaly Response"
As the facility undergoes a chaotic restructuring, A-1 is dispatched to investigate reports of multiple SCPs exhibiting erratic behavior. With the map shifting and new SCPs emerging, A-1 must gather critical data on these anomalies while ensuring that all actions align with the directives of the O5 Council. The team must navigate the unpredictable environment, maintaining order and enforcing the code of conduct among personnel. Successfully documenting the SCPs' behaviors will provide vital intelligence to the Foundation, revealing the locations of newly formed research areas and informing future containment strategies.
Nu-7 Mission: "Containment Recovery Operation"
Amidst the upheaval, Nu-7 is tasked with recontaining Class-D personnel who have breached containment and gained access to SCP objects. As the facility transforms around them, the Class-D utilize their newfound abilities to create chaos. Nu-7 must adapt to the rapidly changing environment, employing tactical strategies to recapture the Class-D before they can escape. Their success will restore order and reveal hidden sections of the facility that were previously inaccessible, providing new opportunities for research and containment.
E-11 Mission: "Dimensional Stabilization"
E-11 is called to respond to the facility's dimensional instability caused by the anomaly. The team must navigate through shifting realities while attempting to recover missing personnel and recontain rogue SCPs. As they stabilize the area, they will uncover new containment chambers and research labs that were sealed off during the chaos. Completing this mission will not only restore functionality to the facility but also enhance the Foundation's understanding of dimensional anomalies.
CI Mission: "Operation: Anomaly Heist"
Seizing the opportunity presented by the facility's reconfiguration, the Chaos Insurgency plans a daring heist to steal a prototype SCP containment device. As they navigate through newly altered pathways and avoid newly emerged SCP threats, CI operatives must execute their plan with precision. The success of this mission could lead to the acquisition of advanced containment technology, further destabilizing the Foundation and empowering the Insurgency's efforts.
UNGOC Mission: "Intelligence Gathering in Chaos"
During the facility's transformation, UNGOC operatives learn of a secret meeting among various anomalous factions that is disrupted by the ongoing chaos. Their mission is to gather intelligence on the altered environment and the implications of the SCP attack. By navigating the transformed facility, they can uncover critical information that may influence future alliances and determine the balance of power among the factions involved.
Foundation Staff Mission: "The Hidden Archive"
As the facility undergoes its transformation, Foundation researchers stumble upon an ancient SCP artifact that leads them to a hidden archive containing lost knowledge about SCP origins. Their mission involves solving intricate puzzles and navigating through newly revealed areas while avoiding the guardian SCP that protects the archive. Successfully accessing this knowledge will unlock new research disciplines and potentially reveal new SCPs, significantly advancing the Foundation's understanding of the anomalous world.
Event Integration: The SCP Anomaly Reconfiguration Event is the narrative that ties all of these missions together. When players from opposing factions accomplish missions, they enable stabilization of the facility; the more objectives they achieve, the more stabilized the facility becomes, and more new areas will be revealed.
