Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why? Yes, RDM×2 warnings that were considerably complex on the situation where once I was gun pointed and killed the other which was deemed to be a non-valid reason which I fully respect the staff's decision for. The final warns for thinking that the Code of Ethics 2.09 referred to D Block personnel for "killing" by mistaking: "Unless D-Class has killed <1 other D Classes, he should not be harmed for killing D Classes" giving me a right-of-way to kill 1 D Class, which is understandable due to the Code of Ethics only being meant for combatant personnel, not D Class. Why are you applying for Security Captain?
Honestly, I am applying because my former Colonel in ABT from MRP, @Jons has sparked an interest in my prior efforts in seriousness in roleplay, documentation, and vast dedication that I had for that regiment as a whole doing anything I can to revive the regiment. However, that is not the only reason I am applying. After giving some thought, I really wanted to be a part of a higher position in Security for the core reason of providing whatever I can do to assist the current Chief of Security to the best of my abilities that I have demonstrated. A department not only requires a foundation, a set of rules, a leadership, but it also requires those with ambition, passion, and a collaborative goal in mind in bettering every aspect as a whole; which is why the real reason I am applying is I want to be a part of that sheer notion of team building, and creating a strong and healthy department alongside the rest of the Officers of Security. Perhaps even learn something new in the journey! The greatest thing about being a part of a leadership role is simply helping new cadets out to understand their duties and roles and joining the effort of creating a better image of Security, and representing on how things should be.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?
Recently, I have been far more active on SCP than any other server I have been on, plus the freedoms of IRL issues shouldn't affect my ability to join on SCP due to the active community within it. As far what make me suitable for this position is my experience, formality, and my passion to help others is by far the strongest qualities I have over other applicants. I feel that the entire role of being a Security Captain is for helping the Department strive to succeed with an open mind and a welcoming attitude to the enlisted Cadets; I feel that during my tenure as a CO in MRP and experience with Security, I can confidently demonstrate that very motivation previously mentioned.
I feel I would make for a quite essential asset for the documentation aspect of things in assisting the cadet's knowledge of their duties, which I feel that I can provide that welcoming attitude to assist them and the Chief of Security! That is why I would like to offer my services to the Department of Security with not only my unconditional dedication and talents, but by setting an example, or in other words, acting as a guide to ensure that the Code of Ethics are being followed while maintaining a professional and fun environment for my fellow security.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?
The full responsibility of a Security Captain is ensuring that those below them are following the Code of Ethics, being the face of Security as a whole ensuring professional standards are enforced while maintaining a welcoming and friendly approach to cadets setting an example for to be one day, Security Officers. Along with this, ensuring the quality of documents and assisting the Chief of Security in his duties.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Siegfried Weiß was a former Security Combatant whom specialized in the Engineering field at German Facility, Site-DE17. Site-DE17 is located near Zugspitze where the site was primarily designed for intelligent and sensitive anomalies that are particularly difficult or costly to contain and are not contained at a Biological Site. It specializes in humanoid anomalies in general. Despite initial skepticism, its location in a tourist area has proven fortunate, since even escaped anomalies and their arrests go unnoticed, although concealing access to the Site is complicated by the large number of people. The Site is located deep within the mountains, and has long corridors with lockable bulkheads, making the Site easy to seal off and secure against escape. Siegfried was very skilled at his technical abilities of securing the doors and walls of the facility to be built nearly impenetrable for inmates and anomalies. He discovered a substance called Graphene in which he used for the facility's main material for metal parts as Graphene was really easy to create in the area with the aid of the Facilities Researchers. Siegfried also assisted the Security of the facility as his primary Department ensuring that all safety measures were up to par and that inmates wouldn't be able to escape the facility. His duty was to assist researchers in escorting D Class for their tests, ensuring that D Class were behaving in the facility and that all SCPs were locked to the teeth. Eventually, he was then transferred over to Site-65 as Security Cadet to aid in the frequent security breaches to both D Classes and SCPs in the facility. Overtime he was promoted in his efforts ensuring the quality of the department that lacked in both Ethics and Communication as a Security Captain by the Chief of Security.
