What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is to increase the health OR armor of the Gensec Security Containment Unit. The amount increased has varied between different peoples suggestions in game. Ive been playing SCU for the past week or so and have gotten familiar with the Pros and Cons of the role. As it stands right now the SCU is basically a Cadet with an RPK. Increasing the Armor would help set apart the SCU and give it a slight advantage when attempting to contain SCPs. It is VITAL that this role be updated. But my recommendation would be to increase SCU armor by 50 making it 150.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
To my knowledge this suggestion has not been posted before. If so I apologize.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
1. SCUs would be given more time to shoot and more time to be contain hostile SCPs. 2. Anyone hostile GOIs in the building shooting at the SCUs would have a harder time dispatching of them.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Negatives of this armor increase would be SCUs are alot harder to terminate and would take some skill to kill.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Accepted or not if you've played the SCU role before you understand what kind of disadvantage you have. You are supposed to be the baddest of the bad in GENSEC and with the same armor and health as everyone else its pointless. Yes the RPK and having AA is a good advantage but when you don't have access to anything but your wit and teamwork a boost in armor would be greatly appreciated. Please take this suggestion into consideration. Thank you.
