What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Gives Server Leadership the ability to approve specific soundboards for SCPs that cannot speak outside of voice chat, similar to Pac3 authorization. Here are some examples:

• A clip of SCP-096 crying
• A voice box for SCP-912 that sounds like SCP-912
• A clip of SCP-457 saying "Heat, Fuel, Fire!"
• A clip of SCP-939 saying lines from containment breach

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
More RP potential for SCPs that can't speak

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Potentially could cause a few extra quick sits due to confusion for the first couple of days this change is made

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think it'd be a good thing for the server overall. Small change, but good. Outside of testing, SCPs don't get to do much at all, so it sucks whenever you're an SCP that has a bunch of people wanting to RP with you and can't even engage whatsoever.

• A clip of SCP-096 crying
SCP 096 already cries on it's own
• A voice box for SCP-912 that sounds like SCP-912
SCP 912 already has usable voicelines
• A clip of SCP-457 saying "Heat, Fuel, Fire!"
Rules say that 457 cannot speak in VC
• A clip of SCP-939 saying lines from containment breach
939 already has a voiceline system

- Support until you can find other examples

Would help elevate RP and let SCP players have more interactions with players outside of their swep and /me's and /its.

Love the idea of this completely, as it sets up the server for what its base function is, RP. Not to mention the fact that most non-talking SCPs are the least flagged onto, 173 being the biggest offender as he cannot move when being seen unless he outright breaks the Silver Rule. (Unfortunately, no voice lines for a statue. Has to be one of the worst ones to RP.)

For 096 crying, it'd be good to be able to start crying louder if researchers interact w/ you negatively, or if you want to make it more ominous. For 457, that's the point of the suggestion. For 939, the voice line system is useful, but not enough. It's not customized, and as such, won't really enhance RP or allow you to become immersed because it's the same voice clips you hear every other 939 test. <--- 912 has the same issue.

In game voice clips get stagnant the more you hear them. It doesn't add to RP; it just becomes the norm, as your brain is constantly reminded that it's a video game. As such, you don't get the same excitement you'd get from hearing tons of different and unique voice lines through the VC.

For example, the thing you quoted here was with 096, 912, 457, and 939. Since you have provided no extra commentary, I will presume you agree with everything stated in this reply, and will provide the same response I gave the person quoted.

Stagnation is the Achilles heel of roleplay.

I agree with the 173 thing, but I have found /it's and PAC3 to be a workaround to 173's roleplay issues. Provides less stagnation to the encounter, and as such, people are more willing to engage with the roleplay.

This
but add those weird bassy / raspy sounds from the og game, those were always so ominous and terrifying.
