What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Add /med as a comms shorthand to access medical comms. This does not remove the existing /medical command to access the comms line.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
yeah probably.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Make typing messages over comms not take as long
- Quick turnaround response time for comms messages for medical.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Virtually none.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I don't see a reason why this currently isnt the case since every department except for medical has a shorthand. Some of these being:
/rsd - Research
/sa - Site Admin
/ec - Ethics
/ets - Engineering and Technical Services
I could go on but this seems like a no-brainer.
