What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[This suggestion adds a new commsline, Site Affairs, and it would involve primarily DEA and ISD, as a joint commsline between the two.]

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
[I have not seen one, so I'd say no]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[During recent time, DEA and ISD have worked together more and more, for both internal but also external stuff. Whenever we have a potential traitor or person who's been in contact with a GOI, DEA usually involves ISD to use their interrogation rooms, but also to plan tribunals. Getting the commsline would make it easier for us to communicate. Furthermore, it could prevent metagaming. While we'd usually do <DEA-ISD> in just a CL3 comms, this can lead to the person we're talking about to simply... Hide or escape from site because of metagaming]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[Technically, most of the people we get ISD involved with are high rankings who'd most likely have access to this commsline, so the whole metagaming positive could be rather redundant.]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[For an RP standpoint, I believe it's a great idea. I think the positives outweigh the negatives if we talk RP. The commsline is a good way to encourage more communication between the two departments, who are generally considered the entire Site Affairs group. Might also clear out some of the prejudice towards ISD that some people hold.]

neutral

this really does seem like just a UK suggestion… USA doesn’t work closely with dea and this would never be used on USA imo

With that being said I don’t see a harm for it, it just will be used pretty much only on UK
Look on the bright side, a Site Affairs commsline could help DEA and ISD work together some more. Y'all are really missing out on some great cross department operations

Unfortunately that will not work, it’s not we don’t like dea just not how we work. Uk and USA are very very different.

it also may harm DEA as they are already struggling doing what they are supposed to do and I don’t want to just throw a whole other responsibility while they focus on that.

A comms line would not harm a department.... 😑

I too as a US dea dpt director would have to be neutral on this suggestion, it doesn't hurt much, but you don't see that type of collaboration on US that you see on UK. It just would go unused on US besides maybe calling ISD to arrest someone for something. It could change in the future, but just with the state of US DEA, you wouldn't see it being used.
