What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
- Add a turret in Core (specifically overlooking this bridge)

- Move SS Turret to outside of the door

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?
- Not that I have seen
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Core related -
- Follows the current design of turrets (Them being Infront of / protecting spawns / protecting POIs) SS , Ethics, Secondary Bulk, Medbay)
- SCPs cannot target / will avoid sections with majorly populated with non - combative personnel.
- SCPs will either avoid falling into here or just avoid PW as a whole and actually attempt to escape or hold other sectors down
SS Related -
- SCPs cannot hold the outside of SS (specifically talking about 008 instances attempting to rush into SS)
- 079 hacking the turret won't always effect GSD / E-11 spawn as the delta elevator isn't in the range of the turret.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion
- For core, 079 could hack the turret... Which honestly isn't a big deal.
- Some would argue this could make breaches more containable, yet I'd argue SCPs shouldnt focus on holding down sections where a major spawn is.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
-For core, I've always noticed (specifically with 008 breaches as well) SCPs tend to run into PW and often core to just kill everyone constantly, which doesn't always end up going well for them as they end up getting overran eventually but. Seeing core houses Site admin, Ethics, AND Researchers (all non - combative excluding the O-1 spawn) I don't see the issue of a turret being added, (or maybe the one in ECW being moved) to cover the bridge. As ideally you would want to try to PREVENT an SCP from getting core to protect essential staff.
- And for SS, same thing. Only SCP that really causes an issue is 008, and some poor staff just has to clear out the instances constantly reinfecting spawns in SS. Breaches are fun for everyone, as long as people can actually make it out of their own bunks and not get targeted by a hack turret or by an SCP that avoided the turret. I would argue moving the SS turret outside will have the same effect of moving the secondary turret behind the bulk - the intention is to stop SCPs / cause them to avoid it. Or at least have some plan to get passed it
