Accepted Some quality of life changes and some more

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

1. Allow NWO to jump over the railings in their base(the ones that stop them from leaving the base)

2. Give NWO a new supply point at the bottom of the maze of ramps and lift gimmick so it doesnt take an extra 5 minutes to resupply.

3. Remove the OshKosh (I will miss it) and the Bradley(everyone complains that it lags anyway?) and allow both teams to use BTR-80 and BTR-80a

4.Give the BTR's enough power to actually go up a hill while in drive and not have to reverse to get up a slight hill.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

1. Quality of life change to match the NATO base, no idea why there is a barrier to stop them jumping off their base anyway?

2. People are always complaining that NWO won't build FOB's. Make it easier for them to build the FOB and not add unnecessary obstacles compared to NATO's supply point.

3. This is up for debate, I understand the idea of 'this is a NATO vehicle and this is a NWO vehicle' but it will completely remove the balancing factor when both teams can just use the same vehicles. Both teams can already use Boxers why not just continue the trend to keep everything nice and clean?

4.Just quality of life to make BTR's easier to use on highlands

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

1. NWO might be able to leave their base quicker, which is bad because everything seems to be put in place as an obstacle for them.

2. There is none. PLEASE just move the supply point, IM BEGGING.

3. People won't have something to cope about in ooc because both vehicles will be the same.

4. BTR's going brrr

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

Quality of life changes are just basic things that should be implemented to improve everyones overall experience on the server.

The BTR change would be a good mix-up on the infantry meta and help with the balancing of the infantry vehicles. Bradley lags the server(apparently), the OshKosh will be missed though - it can literally climb any mountain with no problem.

Not because its for NWO, but because it actualy brings some concerns that might help NWO, new players at that aswell. Very well done Ooga Booga

I think this will make life easier for NWO , and the OshKosh change will be good , it will balance them , the btr protects the Gunner while in the OshKosh the gunner can be shoot and killed rendering it useless .
If there is no tanks/ATs/Hellis around a btr can decide the fate of a point , meanwhile the OshKosh gunner can be killed easily and forcing NATO to abandon it or retreat the wehicle.

Thanks for your thoughts, just a bit more of detail on why you don't think the BTR's for both team is a good change?

Oshkosh has always been a weird subject as some say it's equal to a Vodnik and others its equal to BTR but Bradley lags the server and should be removed, what about Puma and K17 or any form explosive type autocannon, so should they be removed as well cause it lags the server.

The Humvee is the best comparison to the Vodnik. The comparison isn't great because the Humvee can be quite good in combat whereas the vodnik is worse than useless.
That being said, +support, it's very irritating to have to use the gimmick lift over and over again which is cool, but takes a very long time to use.

the bradly particle effect is easy to fix since the lag is from it adding light each time it hits anything and the it high fire rate. (BMP didnt have the particle fx like the bradly but same firerate). Also Oshkosh grip should have been nerfed to stop it from climbing steep hills. you dont want every vehicle copy and pasted down to the same model because one that just boring to see on the server. ( also this the problem when you have models from 40 different creators)

Hi Ooga Booga,
Your suggestion has been accepted. I'll be covering these in the sections of which you wrote them in. 1) We can not allow people to jump over the side of the base as it would render the elevator, troop elevator as well as the ramp unused completely. Furthermore, there are combat deployments that can be used if necessary. 2) Although we can not move the vehicle resupply station underground as the VWAR addon doesn't allow for more than one supply station placed down without it breaking and so as an alternative, we will look to move it near the vehicle elevator. This way, it's a lot more accessible as you don't need to go up the ramp. 3) I believe Frogger is currently making more vehicles to potentially replace them and it's on the github to fix the particle lag.
