Foundation despise chemicals because of the combative edge they give to CI.

I feel it's also a lack of leadership within the Foundation side to be honest. Whilst CI raids come in with strategies and plans on what they are going to achieve that raid it feel that Foundation just have - throw ourselves at CI, then because it's a hold that doesn't work. They then try and switch it up to push with a dimension! Once again doesn't work because CI come prepared with scrantons and cards ect. and I get that it's difficult to push a hold don't get it wrong but we are a research and storage site for many SCPs which have advantageous samples which can take the edge off of CI.

I wish we had the goblin samplers which would allow for a lot of samples like 966, tg, 106 ect. to make chems like NHU to help all the MTF regiments at least try and counter the strats CI have been throwing at the foundation for honestly months. It's always the same things on rotation and because they continue to work, there's no reason for CI to change that.

But yeah lacking of getting high value easy chems (such as 008) leads to us not being able to fully fund MTF groups like NU-7 who are meant to be combating our main issue. 1L of 008 blood valued around 15k can allow for someone to make nearly 20L of potent and because Foundation literally own 008 there's an infinite supply for us to take advantage of. I get lore wise WHY we aren't allowing 008 samples as a regular thing but there isn't even really that much you can do with it IC and CI regularly take it without problems.

I feel the chemical system should be more RP related anyway but at the current state at least let us compete against CI with chemicals and allow us to fund the MTF groups fighting them...

RCPT does give chems for free, we just don't have the pure economic output that ARUC has to keep funding free anima / nhu / potent for departments.

You gotta realise RCPT is currently still far weaker production-wise than ARUC (because there aren't really any big chemical goblins in Foundation as of late), and we can't really get any stronger either without it being shot down by higher ups.

I would absolutely love it if RCPT earned enough money quick enough that we could throw hundreds of thousands worth of chemical at MTF so that breaches and raids get recontained easier, but currently we're stuck at a few handouts a month at most. Also, we sell tylenol at a discount to Nu-7 for that express purpose, but for some reason they just.... don't really buy any tylenol?

If we were given the permission to - as a necessary evil - sample SCP-008 to gather funding, we could likely donate far more to departments. Hell, if an O5 permitted it I could get RCPT almost a million dollars an hour in value, but that's never getting approved. (that 1 million could be turned into ~250L of potent for each MTF btw)
