I'm a easygoing guy that can get along with anyone, I'm good at combat, quick on my feet and perceptive. Solid at RP, I've a good idea on how to approach anomalies and how to RP dealing with them rather than shooting first and asking questions later. I'm also quite active and can usually make time for important events.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I've a good grasp on SCP lore and find that the Global Occult Coalition is a better fit for me than the other two Groups of Interest we have on the server. The players seem more chill as well, and I've always enjoyed a bit of RP rather than being in a mostly competitive setting.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The Global Occult Coalition was founded with the purpose of being the shield that guards humanity from the paranormal entities living among us by any means necessary.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
The PHYSICS division is comprised of field operatives that specialize in observing, investigating and containing and or neutralizing paranormal entities. The PHYSICS division is split into two subdivisions, the Assessment teams; tasked with the aforementioned observing and investigating, and the Strike teams; tasked with the aforementioned containing and or neutralizing.

The PSYCHE division is mostly comprised of diplomats that specialize in negotiating with non-hostile entities in attempt to make and keep peaceful relations. The PSYCHE division is also split into two subdivisions, that being the Special Observers tasked with keeping watch of scientific and archeological locations from which entities may emerge from and the Ambassadors; which are tasked with the aforementioned negotiating.

The PTOLEMY division is mostly comprised of research and support staff, tasked with designing and funding the rest of the G.O.C so that they may do their job. The PTOLEMY division is split into two subdivisions as well, those being the Quartermasters; tasked with logistics and support and the Research and Development subdivision; tasked with directing and funding new research and development.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
Simply put the G.O.C's goal is to ensure the survival of the human race by any means necessary. This goal is achieved via "the Fivefold Mission" which, as the name suggests is comprised of five other missions, their importance starting from most important to least;
First Mission: Survival
The first mission states that the Global Occult Coalition will hold the survival of the human race against all supernatural threats as their highest mission, superseding all others.
Second Mission: Concealment
The second mission states that the knowledge of the paranormal would result in mass panic and heavy casualties among the human population, therefore said knowledge is to be concealed from the general public.
Third Mission: Protection
The third mission states that all individual human beings, including operatives of the Global Occult Coalition shall be protected whenever possible.
Fourth Mission: Destruction
The fourth mission states that no unnecessary risks are to be taken to ensure the survival of paranormal threats.
Fifth Mission: Education
The fifth mission states that the Global Occult Coalition will make every effort to expand their knowledge regarding the paranormal.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
The Seventh Occult War was an occult "war" that happened at the time of World War II, it was triggered by two Nazi sided groups, the SS Ahnenerbe and the Thule Society. They attempted to perform an occult ritual known as the "Rite of Solomon" in order to turn the tides of the war to their favor but were stopped by a joint effort of the S.C.P. Foundation and the Allied Occult Initiative. The events of this war led to the founding of the Global Occult Coalition.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
Unlike most of the other occult groups, the G.O.C does what it does with the purpose of ensuring the survival and well-being of the human race. The SCP Foundation may claim to do the same thing, but at the end of the day they still protect and research dangerous anomalies with no benefit to humanity whatsoever, they also use beneficial anomalies for their own personal gain.

Biographical Information:
Marcus Smith was born to a family of hunters in a small village near Sheffield. He spent his childhood carefree until he became a teenager, that's when his father decided to introduce him to hunting; that all life is sacred and that the lives of the animals taken in the hunt are to be treated with respect and dignity. He looked up to his father heavily, as his mother passed away while he was still young. His father was more than happy to teach him his trade but he was more focused on making sure that his son was a good person. During the hunts with his father he learned not just how to hunt by himself, but how to coordinate with other people to achieve their goal.

Eventually though Marcus became a man, and his father wished him farewell as he left for the city to have a life he never did. Marcus's father wanted him to experience as much as can before settling down to a quiet lifestyle. Marcus decided to enlist in the military, where he learned the art of warfare after several years in the British Army, securing himself a spot in the Special Air Service. Marcus was precise, quick and deadly which earned him quite a bit of reputation within the army. Eventually though, he and several other operatives were dispatched on a mission involving the United Nation's peacekeeping forces in the middle east.

Marcus and his troops were deployed roughly 1.2 kilometers away from a remote village in Afghanistan. According to their intelligence report the village should be under the control of UN's peacekeeping forces, however upon observing the village Marcus and his troops discovered that the village was seemingly abandoned. They moved in once the sun settled and investigated, finding blood nearly everywhere but no bodies. They relayed this information to Command and carried on investigating until they came across one of the villagers who appeared aggressive and incomprehensible as if he had lost his mind. Foam poured from his mouth and nostrils as he charged towards Marcus's squad which retaliated by shooting him twice in the chest. The man continued to move on the floor until Marcus discharged a bullet into his skull.

Suddenly Marcus received word that there are multiple heat signatures appearing all around them in the village and that he's been ordered to get himself and his men out of there as fast as possible. The sound of hundreds of villagers groaning filled the village as Marcus and his squad found themselves surrounded near the middle of the village. He called out for a helicopter and received orders to stand-by for extraction. In a old and unkempt two floor house they held out against waves of crazed villagers all of which tried to lunge at the operatives in attempt to bite or grab hold of them. They managed to hold out until two UN helicopters arrived to extract them from the zone, as they flew away wondering what the hell that was they stared in awe as fighter jets bombed the village, reducing it to dust.

After the mission was over Marcus was introduced to a commanding officer within the UN's G.O.C who had an offer Marcus just couldn't refuse.
