Pac Lore: Following his promotion to LT, Steele had several instances of talking too much about how his legs were reminiscent of "Robot Chicken" and how his hands were less than human. Taking enough abuse, he'd decided to be on the phone with Richard Mann's Cyber Dealer. After taking a Stryker to the agreed-upon destination and engaging in extensive negotiations, Steele and Richard Mann agreed on an acceptable price and began working immediately. The central chassis underwent a serious overhaul, reinforced and fitted to accommodate the new augments. The arms chosen were the fully scrubbed version of the BAWS Arsenals v 5.1, a completely 5-digit arm replacement with improved hydraulic protection. His legs were sourced from Schieder's Cybernetics, having been previously iced up so no outside forces could try and take control over them. The legs themselves are fitted with heavy hydraulics, built-in gyroscopes and a storage compartment for his keepsakes. After the procedure was finished, Steele was escorted back to Site 65, where tech experts uploaded his systems with enhanced firewalls and Foundation-made antiviruses. Arriving back at the site, he also got a coat of paint to keep the colours in line with Alpha-1.
