Employee Name: Nathan Primrose
Age: 22
Sex: Male
Race: Human/Caucasian
Background: Growing up in a small town on the East Coast, Nathan developed a strong interest in local wildlife and the surrounding forests, often embarking on long adventures into the woods with his brother. His passion for the natural world led him to pursue studies in biological and chemical sciences, which deepened his understanding of the life around him. After graduating, Nathan and his family took a vacation to a local conservation and historical site.
Subsequent reports indicate that an undocumented instance of SCP-860 was being housed within an on-site observatory, which had not been recorded in Foundation databases.
Recruitment and Assignment: The subject was recruited into the Foundation following Incident-0860-22. A local Foundation front was used to discreetly encourage him to apply for an "Assistant Researcher" position. While his academic background in chemical and biological sciences was noted to be above average, the primary factor driving Foundation interest was his persistent fixation on the incident involving his brother. After recruitment, Nathan, who has requested to be referred to as 'Nav', was assigned to SCP-860. This decision was made not only to make use of his scientific expertise, but also to observe any potential psychological or anomalous reactions he may exhibit when working with an SCP tied to his personal history.
Career Progress: Following his assignment to SCP-860, Nav quickly became well-liked among the researchers working alongside him, not only for his extensive knowledge on the subject matter, but also for his genuine appreciation and respect for the SCP subjects themselves. Demonstrating strong initiative and consistent performance, he advanced through the research ranks at a notably quick pace, eventually attaining the position of Senior Researcher. His specialization in biological and dimension-related anomalies allowed him to contribute meaningfully to multiple containment and research efforts. After successfully leading a project to fully map the interior of the SCP-860-1 forest, he was promoted to the position of Executive Researcher by site leadership, a decision made to both recognize his proven capabilities and further support his pursuit of high-level research.
Mental Evaluation: Nav has exhibited mild symptoms of PTSD linked to his prior encounter with SCP-860-2. However, as no additional signs of mental health concerns or other notable issues have been observed, he has been cleared to freely conduct tests and oversee studies within his designated clearance level. Continued psychological evaluation is recommended to ensure that no future signs of worsening trauma develop.
Performance Review: Site directors have taken interest in the subject, primarily due to the rapid pace at which he attained his current clearance level, as well as his persistent interest in uncovering the truth surrounding his brother's disappearance. Following review, Site Inspection has determined that the details of the incident will remain classified from him for the time being. This decision is based on concerns that revealing the full circumstances may negatively impact his focus, potentially hindering both his personal research efforts and the broader goals of the Foundation.

End Log.
Following the incident, Nathan was amnesticated and sent back to his hometown, while the observatory was secured and is now under foundation authority. It is currently unknown how the instance of SCP-860 ended up within the observatory, but further investigations are being performed to uncover where and how the instance came to be. A cover story was implemented for the disappearance of Nathan's brother consisting of a freak wildlife accident following a family outing into the woods. Further interest is being held with the recovered subject, both due to him surviving in the encounter, but also due to the fact that he seems to still remember some memories of the event even after multiple sessions of amnestication.
