What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
- My suggestion is a request to edit the newly introduced sampling limit (ONLY FOR SURFACE SCP's). To change the limit from 3L in the time frame to 9L or 12L.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
- I do not believe so as this is a relatively new thing that has been introduced to the server
Possible Positives of the suggestion:
- Changing the limit from 3L on 323 and 8854 allows all surface factions to get their samples efficiently, because at the moment it currently take over an hour to even get 3L across 3 factions (Nu-7, DEA, CI, UNGOC MC&D). As per usual there is always a minimum of 4 factions wanting to get their 3L for their faction when a surface SCP is captured, this is just not realistically possible at this time.
- Instead of spending over an hour waiting for their samples to be filled, this massively hinders any background work thy were planning to be doing or if they are needed elsewhere. The amount of time it takes uses personnel and makes them unavailable for that whole duration.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Honestly, I cannot think of one negative in regards of this change. I feel as if it makes perfect sense to allow all surface factions to get their samples as we always have
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
- In my opinion of what positives I have stated above massively outweighs the potential negatives that can be thought of from other people if necessary (as I did not provide any). Therefore, this suggestion should be accepted as it ensures fair and efficient access to SCP samples for all surface factions, significantly improving gameplay flow and faction activity without introducing any clear drawbacks.
