What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the role of ECM
Over the past few months of playing as an ECA I have challenged myself to lead from the helm if you will. To be not just a guy signing off on documents but actively working with people and checking in on those projects. I think I have been decently successful in this endeavor. However as an ECA I only have so many tools to work with and I want to be an ECM to expand my ability to work with people and lead projects. I am applying as I thoroughly enjoy this style of RP as I said the leading from the helm of the ship. Not only the creation and signing off of projects but additionally the check ins and actively watching activity and tests to see how things are going. Leadership has always been to me the ability to let an idea go so others may experience it and I think as an ECM I can lead extremely effectively. It took me longer than I would admit to realize this is how I want to do things this way and that this is how I hope to lead people but my recent work as an ECA has allowed me to provide this RP for others and myself to push the bounds of what is done. Becoming an ECM would open a number of doors for me and allow me to create and lead RP for myself and others.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I personally have been working with and in the Committee for nearly a year now. I have been both an ECA and O1 and worked directly with ECMs in both fields. I believe this has allowed me to understand how an ECM should conduct themselves and how they should conduct others. I think my dual experience and time in these roles have led to as deep of an understanding of the role as you can get without actually holding the role. For that reason I think I have the closest thing to ECM experience you can get and will be valuable to the committee. In my recent work I've been able to make a name for myself as the ethics guy or a direct line to ECMs if need be. Many researchers go to me when things need discussing or questions are asked, the same is true for ISD. I think this already built reputation that I can improve upon is something everyone should strive to have but with me already having can be instrumental. For all those reasons I think I'm the best candidate for ECM.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
-Emergency management IE calling ERT, Authing AA, and calling code black
-Authing tests from RSD that need ethics oversight
-Project assignment to the ECMs respective department
-Ordering O1 and ECAs day to day while on site.
-Working with ISD on high value investigations.
-Judging tribunals when called to do so.
-COE management
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
-Choosing O1 COM
-Voting on ECA applications
-Voting on ECM applications
-Dealing with high level O1 blacklists
-Voting on DoISD

A series of clicks is heard as the door code is punched in a the door swings open
An unidentified Omega 1 operative enters and notices the scene
Aren't you a little young to be drinking

Tad awake as he had for the last week hungry a few hundred feet underground in an outfit that didn't quite fit. Today was different though he had been told it was a trial a last chance to plead his case. He didn't believe this.
Footsteps are heared as 2 Omega 1 collect him and take him to a large set of doors his cuffs are removed and the doors swing open Tad walks into a large circular chamber with blinding lights above him. Befor him in the wings of the chamber sit every active member of the committee and 1 open seat.

Never have I heared a more pathetic exuse. However I cannot fault you for not knowing the activiy of my committee.
Her words hang in the air.
Tad You are hereby pardoned of you crimes agenst the foundation and this committee and as a token of our gratude for your loyalties we offer you to fill the seat of the man who has placed you in this position.
Tad looks around for the hint that this is a joke for the sign that the door behind him is going to be busted open and he is going to be shot dead for his crimes but that never comes.

At Tads return to site 65 a single sheet of paper is sitting on his desk and it reads as follows.
I wont forget what you did and neither will they. By this time you have gotten away but next time the jaws of fate will not be so merciful.
