Accepted Tank round explosion radius

What does this suggestion change/add/remove: makes the tanks round have a higher explosion radius for engaging infantry in buildings or behind cars and such. It doesn't have to be 1 shot maybe bleeding and like 50 damage

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Tanks can engage at longer distances and clear points without having to getting to close for potential C4s and AT

Gives tank regiments more of a fighting chance against AT and potential helicopters

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
I cant see a negative from this as it would force AT to work smarter instead of sitting on a point and going ohhh tank AT4 smack and then run away.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
For 1, realism, 2, tanks have just machine guns for infantry which cannot shoot through walls/cover, 3, the ability to use different tactics instead of just having a tank being forced by higher command to sit on a point, we can clear them with HE and machine guns and potentially with IFVs so we don't have to sit and stay on a point because if we do, with helis atm we just get obliterated.

The one thing i can say the server could move all the simfphy vechicle to
Katastrofa Base-system but alot the files is in russian and would be big project to do.

They wouldn't even need to do that, gredwich's base already has files that augment simfphy stuff with different shell types, actual hud readouts for now much ammo you have in machine guns and a reload indicator, its just making a new file with a config gredwich can read, hell it even has a better smokes system and actual shell impacts kick up dirt and dust

Either way +support on this

Gredwich is not that simple of a thing to turn on a big server with the pentation feature being off on the tanks and also you would need to write armor thickness and explovise for each of the vehicles, Boost the damage of rockets because it will bounce off of the vehicle or do no damage at all. (also you see how the KWK one shot everything as a flat angle or blow 30 degrees we would have to deal with the same thing with tanks)

Depends because you could just set all tanks with HESH which has the same amount of damage at any range which would work well with rockets as they, kinda, can't bounce since they squish and go boom, either way with how rockets work right now only hydras and hellfires would be affected by the new calculations since rockets can be programmed to directly do damage to the tank instead of having to go through gredwiches armour pen calculations if I remember correctly, so really only helicopters will have a harder time on heavily armoured vehicles which is honestly better because it's getting tiring having 5 hydras land around your tank and the engine dying and you having to crawl your way back to base or be blown up completely

Suggestion Accepted

Hi @Sandwalker , Your suggestion has been accepted.

After talking with both tank regiments, we are planning to add 2 different ammo types to main battle tanks. Antitank and Antipersonnel shells. Antipersonnel shells will have a bigger explosion radius, but will do less damage against tanks.
This will be added to our backlog as medium priority.
