Original Steam login name (your accounts first ever name): easymoney2k4
For how long have you played on CG SCP-RP: I've played on SCP-RP for 5 days and 16 hours total at the time of writing over two weeks.
Age: 19
In what country are you located?: United States
Time zone: EST
Foundation Name (include your regiment and rank if applicable): Akura Ovaiss
Chaos name (include your rank): None, I don't have a Chaos character.
Civilian name: Malachite Ovaiss
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:234721838
Discord ID (name#0000): dr_ternith_plague
Do you have a mic?: Yes
What server are you applying for?: SCP-RP USA
Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: Yes, this is my first application.
-
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
I've yet to receive any kicks, bans, or warnings on the server at the time of writing. If this changes, I will edit it to reflect this.
-
Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community?:
Yes, I've got plenty of experience totaling over a year in both SCP-RP and other roleplay communities. Some - if not, most - of these events included GoIs in some shape. Expanding the world of the SCP Foundation in such a server is something that I love to do commonly, which is why I reference uncommon GoIs such as the RCMP-OSAT sometimes when I talk. For a direct example, I had a GRU-P event series focused on GRU-P's attempts at disrupting Foundation and CI operations to deploy a large-scale aggressor mech to take out the site each faction was located at.
-
Do you have any previous experience with serious roleplay?:
Yes. I was part of a Half-Life 2 SeriousRP community for a few months before heading here. Before that, the events I ran on other servers were a tad bit more on the serious end. I also write documents with a more factual tone, and not only participate in roleplay situations but create situations for other players - such as conducting a test for various SCPs, running a blood drive for personnel, etc.
-
How many hours can you be on everyday?:
Currently, I can be on for 8 hours at most every day. This limit comes from my having to go to work daily and with my current schedule. However, times could change depending on the day, and the average time usually is 4-6 hours.
-
Why do you want to become a Gamemaster on our server?:
I'll be completely honest - the only other event I've noticed on site was the RTF Seraph-9 event that was being held yesterday. While I won't say the GM Team on SCP-US is inactive, I will say I haven't noticed many events. I want to provide people on the server with scenarios and events that can either leave a lasting impact on the server, or on individual people. The SCP Foundation isn't as grimdark as we believe it to be - but it's also not all sunshine. I want to make events that reflect this - possible through GoIs approaching the site - friendly or hostile - and through helping people out with their tests, even if it's just through the usage of props.
-
What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants?:
My main specialty comes with writing. I may not be the best voice actor or general actor on the server, however, my scripts for events are commonly detailed and come with a lot of information for personnel to receive. With the documentation system on the server, compared to others, creating events could practically become a cakewalk. In all, while I won't be the best at acting, I can most definitely help set up or even create the source material for events.
Please List 3 small event ideas (Which would involve at least one side of the server):
Idea #1) The Occult and Supernatural Taskforce of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police enter the area investigating reports of wild animals that "don't look like no deer I've seen". This can occur when a surface breach occurs, and interactions between the RCMP, GOC, CI, and Foundation can occur as a result of them bumping into each other. Visitation is also possible as a result of this event.
Idea #2) An SCP with the temporary designation of SCP-048 is transferred on-site, alongside Dr. [Choose a name]. Personnel are required to prevent harm from coming to Dr. [Choose a name] while he conducts his research to prove the designation SCP-048 is not cursed.
Idea #3) The Chaos Insurgency receives a knock on the door. At the step is a small, red ball - SCP-018. When they throw it, people have 5 seconds to exit the room before they need to roll to not get hit. The person will the lowest roll loses. Eventually, however, the ball will break out of containment, and out of the base, causing severe damage to the town. Following this incident with SCP-018, DEA will need to do direct damage control to people who witnessed the ball.
Please List an Map change event idea (Involving both sides and the entire server):
Doctor Lurk D. arrives on site with Director Nathan Valis of the Artificial Intelligence Applications Division. Today, they're here to see SCP-079 and conduct a very special and dangerous test. They plan to expand SCP-079's memory to test the effects it could have over long-term study. However, things immediately go awry as the entire site enters a blackout. On the screen of SCP-079, an Ø appears on his screen. Attempts to destroy or deactivate SCP-079 fail, and the site systems enter complete failure, causing all SCPs to breach containment. Valis, likely going over the heads of Site Administration, calls in the Global Occult Coalition for assistance - in full force. SCP-079, capable of hacking all site systems, causes an immediate priority evacuation event and creates a new AI, classified as SCP-7579. The evacuation causes the site to be lost and causes personnel to erect a Faraday cage around the town of Pinewood until a proper method of destruction can be devised. If extended map changes are permitted, the change will go on for a week until the UNGOC Headquarters simply says "Throw it into the sun", causing SCP-7579 to be gone for an extended period, unlikely to come back.
List an example mission for each of the following:
O-1: Omega-1 Personnel detect a series of tunnels being made, with Zeta-9 at the center of them. They're required to explain to Zeta-9 why making tunnels into the facility is a bad idea. To locate them, they'll need to navigate through a series of tunnels made by Zeta-9 personnel who are afflicted by an unknown memetic effect. Termination is not advised but may be provisionally authorized. Afterward, the Zeta-9 must be amnesticized to remove the memetic effect.
A-1: OSAT requests assistance in a sting operation of anomalous "utmost secrecy". Alpha-1 needs to be deployed to handle the situation. Likely a large anomalous drug bust that OSAT couldn't handle on its own, or this group holding a high-ranking member of the Foundation hostage (Clef, Gears, and Cimmerian being a few examples). The hostage takers (most likely members of the Cogwork) will demand any anomalous entity - it is up to Alpha-1 to rescue the Researcher by caving into their demands or breaching the area to clear out the hostiles and save the Foundation member.
Nu-7: A disturbingly large pack of SCP-098 enters the vicinity. Containment is required - either that or kill them to the best of your ability to prevent civilians from encountering harm. To contain the SCP-098 instances, it's advised to use Class-Ds as bait, to lure them into moderately large boxes. Afterward, the SCP-098 instances can be researched on for an hour or two, before breaching and requiring termination.
E-11: A series of SCP-217-infected individuals enter the township of Pinewood. Containment is required to prevent further spread. Do not get infected, as this is a rapidly evolving version of SCP-217. While fire won't work to contain the SCP-217 instances, using a cryogenic foam most definitely will help. Once SCP-217 instances are contained, it's up to local Research staff to gather samples and attempt to learn what they can before the infection takes them over, and kills them entirely.
CI: UIU takes a wild shot in the dark, and begins sending its units with OSAT to investigate sightings of Insurgents in the area. Protect your data, or face possible future raids! The UIU and OSAT forces will mostly have light armor units - however, one larger and stronger unit for each group will be deployed alongside. UIU-OSAT forces will aim to retrieve physical documentation from the Insurgent Database.
UNGOC: The Assistant to the Undersecretary-General has sent an anomaly for you all to destroy - just for you. It's a chair. It wants to be sat on. Anyone that sits on it doesn't want to get up. Specifically, the Foundation Agent who arrived sitting on the chair. Try to destroy the chair without killing the Agent himself - or else we'll be in hell with high water. Good luck.
Foundation Staff: SCP-1048 arrives on site - do you want to risk interaction and lose ears? Or would you rather keep it in that box forever? It does look cute though. SCP-1048 will attempt to gather materials to make SCP-1048 instances. Personnel should aim to prevent such a situation if they can - and if they can't - research the instances, and learn from them.
